The truth is Slot won the league because he walked into a good team Klopp left him. He didn’t build that team, he just managed it. After that the team started going backwards and he looked clueless.
He kept making the same mistakes and there was no clear way of playing. That’s why we are in this mess now.
That’s the situation Iraola walked into. He’s not getting the same team Slot got from Klopp. He’s dealing with the mess Slot left behind, so right now he’s still testing for good.
He’s trying to see what works with the players he has. Because of that, his project will need time to fix things that have already gone wrong.
