If hetero relationships are so bad, why do women go back for more? A new straight-studies course treats male-female partnerships as the real deviance. nymag.visitlink.me/C8eQ9a

Loved showing this Federici clip in my Gender Trouble class, so I figured I’d dedicate it to all the sisters in my feminist coven. Special mention @SomaChaudhuri7 & @thequeerjane Should Feminists Embrace the Image of the Witch? | SILVIA FEDERICI youtu.be/iO4rNi4WIIw?si=kVwU… @YouTube

Trump primarily mobilizes White people and men. Wins handily. After the election, Democratic pundits say mobilizing “identity groups” don’t work and “failed miserably,” erasing Trump’s mobilization of White and male identity groups. Instead, they claim Trump prevailed with a “working class coalition,” erasing the women and Black people who are disproportionately working class. Double erasure. To be racist and sexist is to erase the presence of Black people, of women—and center White identity and male identity so profoundly that White people and men are no longer seen as “identity groups.” politico.com/news/magazine/2…

Feminists just became essential workers. Thank them on the streets. Move aside as they do their work. Maybe you even want to volunteer?

Remember when we were "post racial" and "post feminist" just a few years ago? lol.

If a single Jewish-Israeli child were pulled out from beneath a pile of rubble of what used to be her home & obliterated the rest of her family, not a single Western gov’t would not condemn it or try to blame “both sides”. Racism & colonialism explain this. They expect us to die.

Wanna be scared? This is a book about what is truly terrifying: the intersections of patriarchy, white supremacy, and capitalism. It's also a book about how witches WILL get revenge. #thewitchstudiesreader

If all that is being reported is accurate, we just witnessed Israel authorize an assassination attempt from with the UN- the very body, whose raison d’être is to avoid war, maintain peace &security. What a disgraceful mockery. And the thread unraveling what’s left of it is Israel.

You're going to read a lot about how #Hezbollah command is/was located in Beirut. This is an image of the Israel military's command. It is located in urban Tel Aviv.

This is the beginning of a long war, the southern suburb is home to around 1 million people not all of them are Hezbollah. This isn’t an attack on Hezbollah rather on Lebanon, and it’s obvious that the number of people killed will be higher than any other attack. Israel asked for a war, this is a fact.
The Israeli military is saying it has attacked the central HQ of Hezbollah.

I guess I thought that when journalists finally realized they needed to cover patriarchy, masculinity, feminism, queer theory, and trans kids that they would reach out to feminist, queer, and trans scholars. 🤷‍♀️
