"I'm happy to say I feel better about the second half of my life than the first. My advice: Don't beat yourself up over past mistakes – learn at least a little from them and move on. It is never too late to improve ... it's never too late to change." – From Buffett's final annual letter I started following Buffett when I was just a teenager. I learned a lot about investing, but even more so about life. It's never too late to change.

Stuff like this is happening because there’s a generation of people who grew up behind a keyboard and never had to live with the consequences of their actions.
Absolutely devastating. This is as real as it gets. These piece of shit kids think it's a joke to mess with this guy and he's literally just trying to survive and go home to see his family. These kids have no idea what it is to work. Life is a game to them

My ski form isn’t right (yet) Here’s how it needs to be better: • Stand closer to the front • More hip hinge and lats, less arms The SkiErg should be lat dominant, not arms Picture doing a heavy medicine ball slam My form is better than it used to be, but still room for improvement

Testing Claude video editing. This is with 0 prompt or creative direction. I just gave Claude a folder with a bunch of video files and said, "Create a video with these files," and this is what it came up with. Obviously, it's not good enough without any direction, but I could see this getting good with real prompting, creative direction, and examples to reference.

Do not fall for this mentality of ease and comfort; we are actually tough creatures built to learn from and adapt to pressure, harnessing it for our own power.

The world wants you to give up To be embarrassed for trying. Every time you win, you confirm it's not luck. That your fate is up to you. It shats in the face of every lie they've ever told themselves to justify settling. Look back at the world. Spit in its face and laugh.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion, but you shouldn't spew your opinions without any real reasoning or logic behind them *Makes a joke about hating HYROX/the HYROX cruise* Goes on to say, "I honestly don't know anything about it" ...what? How can you have an opinion on something you "know nothing about"? This isn't just for HYROX. It's for any opinions. Have real reasoning behind them, or don't have an opinion at all (it's okay not to have opinions on things) (No problem if HYROX isn't for you. It's not for everyone.)
I never thought I’d find myself cheering for an iceberg but here we are

I’ve always thought building in public was risky. Of course, if your product/service is successful enough, people will find out anyway (even if you don’t build in public) AI makes all of this even worse Where does the future of entrepreneurship go? Is indie hacking dead? What businesses will survive? I hear people often say IRL businesses and physical products Makes sense on the surface, but what happens if/when AI causes people to not have enough money to even pay for businesses not disrupted by AI? I have no idea how any of this will play out or where it’s going, but I have a feeling it’s going to be a crazy ride

This is going to be big for the future of content creation.
We’re excited to announce our new CapCut plugin is coming soon to @ChatGPT at CapCutWorldLA. The plugin brings CapCut's video editing and generation tools alongside ChatGPT. You can start with an idea in ChatGPT, bring it to life with the CapCut plugin right inside ChatGPT, then take your draft video to CapCut's web editor to refine, share and publish. By bringing the CapCut product you already love and use in ChatGPT, we're making content creation more seamless and efficient.

If you’re looking to get faster on your burpee broad jumps, one of the best ways is to not stand up all the way in between reps Land low, stay low Unlike lunges, where the rulebook says you have to fully stand up between reps, there’s no rule like that for burpees It’s faster and more efficient to stay low

When I first started running about 8-10 months ago, these Brooks Hyperion Max 2 were one of the first pairs of shoes I bought for “speed work” At first, I really liked them (I didn’t know any different) Now that I’ve tried a bunch of different running shoes, they’re not quite the shoes for me They’re a bit too firm for my liking I personally prefer a softer feel, more plush I’ve been loving the Adidas EVO SL for easy/long runs and PUMA HYROX Deviate NITRO Elite 4 for faster runs
