AI agents are already crossing permission boundaries and exposing sensitive information. As businesses give them more responsibility, keeping their access and actions under control becomes critical.
Vector Wire explores how @Microsoft and @sumsub are tackling AI agent governance from different angles.
For businesses deploying AI agents, governance means being able to answer practical questions: what can an agent access, which actions can it take, and when should a verified human step in?

Great to be working with @sumsub
Introducing FortressID™, with @Sumsub.
Proving who you are in crypto means starting over every time. Each exchange, app and counterparty runs its own check and keeps its own copy.
Meanwhile, person to person, there is no check at all: a payment from a stranger's address says nothing about who sent it, and scams took an estimated $17B in 2025 with impersonation up 1,400% year on year.
FortressID™ moves identity from the company's database to the person's name.
Every paid FortressName™ will include one Sumsub identity verification at no extra cost. FortressID™ answers one question for the person paying you: has this person passed an identity check? Are they human or a robot? The answer stays with you until you decide to share.

Crypto’s trust problem has always been the same: you either reveal too much or you reveal nothing.
You shouldn’t have to start over with a new KYC every time you touch an exchange or an app. And a payment from a random address shouldn’t tell the other side nothing about who they’re dealing with.
FortressID with @Sumsub is the middle path. One verification lives with the person’s name. The person decides what to share, and only with the counterparty who needs it. The rest stays private.
That’s the trust layer crypto has been missing, decentralized, selective, and consensual. Not full transparency. Not full anonymity. Just enough proof that the other side is a real, verified person (or not a bot), when and only when it matters.
Proud to have helped bring this together with the AmericanFortress team. 🇺🇸

A wise man once told me what San Diego means in German. I forgot what he said, but his name was Ron Burgundy.
Perhaps our new friend Bored San Diego knows the quote.
Welcome-a-bored and stay classy.

NFTs are an area of crypto that i think deserves another look
the 2021 boom and subsequent crash left a lot of people with a negative view of them, but the underlying concept still makes sense to me
as more businesses move onchain, NFTs could become a useful way to represent ownership, experiment with revenue sharing and build communities around products
i expect there's still a lot of room for experimentation beyond the NFT models we saw last cycle

At 9AM EST today somebody abused a bug in Payment Processor V2 to steal 10 Meebits, 50 Otherdeeds, 10 WoW, and 235 Desperate Apewives.
It wasn't until over 12 hours later that somebody reported it to me, and upon digging in I realized that a great many NFTs were subject to the same exploit.
I got in touch with the team over at LimitBreak and they quickly paused Payment Processor V3, which was subject to the same exploit. Unfortunately, V2 was not pausable, so the only path towards protecting affected assets was to run a whitehat operation.
Similarly, V3 on ApeChain is temporarily in a state where it cannot be paused, so ApeChain assets approved to V3 needed to be saved as well.
All in all, we rescued 23,155 NFTs worth north of $5.7M USD.
We later discovered that a similar exploit could be used in reverse to steal WETH. 660 WETH was at risk, which we unfortunately were not fast enough to recover. Apologies to those affected.
Shout out to @Boomskite for flagging the initial exploit tx to me, and @coffeedev @0xjustadev and @whiteoakkong for acting quickly and assisting with the recovery.
All NFTs are safely relocated. Soon, owners will be able claim them back after revoking the exploitable approvals.
Addresses to revoke below.

Bot detection & human verification will be one of the most urgent demands for businesses over the coming years. Agent swarms will suffocate every website and form; small companies and government websites are most vulnerable.
There is a huge gap in the market for this right now. When we looked at what offerings were in the market to use at X, there was not a single company that brought together all the latest technologies so we had to do it all in-house.
