NAS recently took delivery of 41 new ambulances to go into service this summer in North Leinster (16), South (11) and West (13). One will be for training. They are part of a €14.8m investment in the fleet this year. We expect to purchase approximately 120 vehicles this year.

This St Patrick’s Day call volumes are expected to be exceptionally high. As always life-threatening calls will be prioritised while other calls may have longer wait times. Our Call Takers will provide advice and guidance to callers and updates on estimated response times.

Walk-in test centre, Bolton Square carpark Drogheda. The temporary walk-in COVID-19 test centre from Saturday 29 May until Monday 31 May is an operation led by HSE in conjunction with Louth Co Co to identity cases of COVID-19 and reduce further transmission in the community
