The market for AI financing is already where the worries are right now. Now you have hyperscalers like $META, $MSFT sucking even more capital out of it, so the conditions for neoclouds to get financing are getting even worse. If financing conditions continue to worsen, the neoclouds get worse rates, which means they have to raise prices for their customers for the business model to work, but those clients are mostly hyperscalers and the frontier labs. But at some point, the hyperscalers and frontier labs, if they don't like the pricing, can just decline the neocloud offers, raise debt or equity at much lower rates by themselves, as most of them are investment-grade (possibly even put in their own ASIC), and cut out the neoclouds. The necloud business model is in serious question.

$SOFI resiliency: -$800m impact from fair value marks (rate hikes). +$734m hedge gains. "Our hedges were highly effective in a volatile rate environment." Yes. Yes, they were.

We are now at the point of financial scale (revenue and profit) where our current capital position, in addition to our organic capital generation, is sufficient to fund our business and our planned growth in 2027. Our guidance does not require raising additional capital and we are confident we can execute that plan organically given the balance sheet we have built, the capital we will generate organically from the business and the position we are in today.

BREAKING: $META is reportedly planning to issue new nonvoting shares to finance its massive AI infrastructure expansion without reducing Mark Zuckerberg's voting control, according to Semafor. The structure could help Meta raise additional capital for data centers and computing capacity while preserving Zuckerberg's decision-making authority. An official announcement could come as soon as Wednesday, October 21, alongside quarterly earnings, although the plan remains unconfirmed.

I have to test the model out, but $META being at the frontier of the AI race changes a lot of things for the industry and for $META's valuation. All that negative value derived from "excess CapEx spending and infra capacity" turns from negative to positive with the flip of a switch.
Wow, $META just dropped a bomb! New model called Wonder, with active focus. Focused on knowledge work, health, finance, legal (special data set) Benchmarks look strong with frontier.

My bet would be Muse is going to win
Meta Muse's retention is out, and it's almost as good as ChatGPT! It's higher than ChatGPT at D7 (>30%) and just lower at D14 (22%). Not quite in the elite D14 tier of WA (67%) YT (59%) Insta (54%) or TikTok/Snap (37%), though. Muse is one of the highest retaining AI products!

Re: FT OpenAI headline chaos. CNBC just reported on air, according to a source familar: $70 billion ARR includes "revenue sharing from their big partners" (think AMZN, MSFT). "The way that they [OpenAI] have been reporting revenue has included some of these partnership deals" The $50 billion ARR figure strips out those partnership deals.

Wow, $META has truly an open road with personal AI agents. $GOOGL just announced a Gemini agent, but again, it focuses more on B2B than B2C and is initially available only in the $GOOGL AI Pro and Ultra plans. The big guys have all fired their shots now, and it seems that everyone (OpenAI, $GOOGL, $MSFT, xAI) is fighting for the AI agent business market except $META, which is focusing on the consumer one. It is also clear that nobody besides $META is actually offering the agent on a free plan with a ton of free usage. The reason is that nobody besides $META probably has enough free compute lying around. In the short term, the enterprise market seems more enticing to monetize, but leaving the whole consumer market to $META at this stage could be a big mistake for the other companies. The last person I would want to give a head start and the first-mover advantage with a consumer product like Muse is Zuck and $META if I am their competitor.

When $SOFI fully migrates its $25b annual debit and credit card programs to SoFiUSD, this chart is going to change quickly. Just goes to show you how big of a deal that SoFi x Mastercard partnership is. They are by far the biggest company making the change towards stablecoins.
BREAKING: The total volume of payments processed on crypto cards has reached a record $12.5 billion, up +140% year-to-date. This also marks +247% growth compared to levels seen in October 2025. Continued adoption of stablecoins as a payment rail and the push toward cross-border transaction efficiency are behind the surge in volume. Furthermore, QR-code based payments for crypto cards are seeing robust growth. This has fueled +55% quarter-over-quarter growth in activated cards on Jupiter Spend, one of the largest onchain card providers, particularly due to demand for QR payments. Crypto cards are the next phase of crypto adoption.
