This would be cool!!
There's also the second Roblox video EVER recorded (that we know of) that Shedletsky posted on Gamedev and also had on his website, titled 'ArenaDemoDivx.avi'
It seems that John still has many copies of it, but he hasn't released it. It would be really cool to see him get permission to post it!
I would love it if Roblox actually dug up some ancient builds of the Roblox client from pre-2007 to show off as a historical curiosity, since thereβs no footage of Roblox from when it was Dynablocks.
The only person who Iβd imagine still has build files prior to March 2007 would be @Shedletsky, or the family of @CasselErik. Maybe even @DavidBaszucki but thatβd probably be a long shot. I remember asking @mattdusekwho when I was an intern but didnβt have any luck.
These old builds are running out of time for archival if they havenβt been properly saved since they are susceptible to hardware failure from the last 20+ years. I hope thereβs still a chance they might still be out there.
I also hope Roblox has properly archived the code behind these older versions of Roblox.
π¨ ~~update~~
while I've been slowly working on videos, I've also been consistently adding to my massive deleted YouTube video archive
it's mostly extremely rare Roblox stuff, but there's a ton more cool finds in here too

There is a wonderful tool developed by @MonSindex which will automatically search your PCβs temp folders and compare what it finds hundreds of known pieces of lost media. Highly highly recommend checking it out since this could absolutely change the game:

Today (4 May) marks the birthday of artist Keith Haring.
The American artist and activist rose to fame in the 1980s with his bold graffiti style. A lot of his work addressed social and political issues, including safe s** and AIDS awareness.
In 1986, he made his art widely accessible through the Pop Shop, which offered merchandise featuring his work at affordable prices.
In his journals, featured in a TateShots video, Haring said: "I'm glad I'm different. I'm proud to be gay. I am ashamed of my forefathers. I'm not like them."
Haring died in February 1990 of AIDS-related complications.
