If council members feel threatened by the mayor having more power, and wonder what their roles will be, maybe they should start by making better business decisions for the city and stop falling prey to the culture wars that keep stifling any progress we make.

They could if they had any experience in business. I recently had a Aha moment when I realized that probably 98% of politicians have no experience in anything other than politics. You have people like Buffy wicks who is suppose to be a housing champion and guru when the closet she has been in housing is a aisle at home depot. None of these people no nothing about business or finances or anything outside of stupid ideological memes.
