The thing I hate most about the "markets" narrative is that it's couched in a fear narrative and feels errily like a ransom. We cannot say fear-mongering is bad from some quarters but ok from others.

You know what's wild? As a DEI practitioner in South Africa, these are things I would hear tech leaders say. "We just want good talent" as if a more diverse staff would be less talented. As if hiring in underrepresented people = lowering the standard.

I think there is a massive opportunity in selling baked goods in smaller portions for people who live alone. Especially bread! Imagine being able to buy a 1/2 loaf!
