So why are you already selling Temple device on preorder, that has not been proven to work for any of the claims made, for 85,000 INR? Usually people sell devices that work. Do explain.

@theliverdoc I lead science at Temple, and thanks for putting together the slide show. We appreciate you keeping us on track.
The motion and temperature inputs, the time lags, and the algorithm versions were fixed before each study and are in the methods of both papers. I should have made them easier to find. The 19-second gap you flagged is in our paper too, and the confidence range crosses zero.
In the Doppler study, people cycled seated, so posture did not change, and Temple's signal tracked blood speed in a main brain artery, about 0.80 within each person. That paper also says it cannot yet show the signal is brain-specific.
In the headset study, the zero-lag matches to the brain layer were 0.83, 0.70, and 0.80, and lower once the scalp signal is removed. Lying down, it did not separate brain from scalp.
Some of your points stand. Temple designed, funded, and ran these studies, they are preprints, and there are no outcome studies. Our site calls them independent validations, and that wording should change. Independent studies are planned.

Good news. I hope they really put this to good use and don’t try to be cheeky with citizens' data.

‼️ India's shadowy election consultants have gone global, manipulating elections from Kenya to the United States — for less than $10 a day — an Al Jazeera investigation reveals.
Indian election consultants are running covert social media campaigns, pushing manufactured narratives, and helping politicians unethically influence voters from thousands of miles away.
How do shadow election campaigns work? How do they funnel money? And are there any red lines?

Some people should stick to TV debate studios, where supportive anchors do the heavy lifting and control the audio and video, because doing a PC can be injurious to their painstakingly cultivated image as an intelligent person. Something similar happened in Bhopal in 2018 with the same person.

A citizen approaches the judiciary as a last resort, not for a lecture on how to live without basic necessities.
The judiciary must understand one thing: empathy is not an optional virtue of justice.
The growing disconnect between the courtroom and the ground reality is deeply worrying. Public faith in the justice system cannot survive on constitutional authority alone. It needs sensitivity, accountability and a genuine understanding of human suffering.
Next is:
Don’t breathe.
Don’t drink water.
Don’t fall sick.
Don’t eat.
Don’t get hospitalised.
Don’t live.
Don’t die.
Next case…

Again notional bullshit.
When you and your boys, and lately girls' lives on the line, @IAF_MCC can and fw must be choosy to a quirk.
Those riding the gravy train, sarkari damaad defence production and DRDO have zero skin in the game.
All this defence fake or buy obstacle course is a communist wet dream.
We should change the paradigm from this future continuous bullshit to defence fulfillment. Defence capability on demand, on functionality, not bean counter baniagiri and Agniveer lunacy.
What the Military aviation community does is at already a high risk scale. They shouldn't have to put up with perverse import substitution &uckery.
Enough of this captive audience corruption that gets good pilots crippled or dead.
Human life is fragile, these men have families and ambitions too beyond becoming cannon fodder for neocolonial brown sahib clerk aristocracy and security illiterate politician.
Their kids don't join the Military. They are all parasite freeloaders.
Nobody in a Veterans' family needs to serve for 3 generations. Yet the same families do generations on...in an insane nihilism and the boiling blood of patriotism.
That's what it takes from you. So celebrate this man!
Celebrate these men and women, they are supposed to be self less aliens in this 30% mediocrity streaked efficiency swamp of 2 flat EMIs, and cockroach infestations.

The losses were not his cross to bear. When @narendramodi @rajnathsingh and @PMOIndia @DefenceMinIndia babudom are afflicted with civil military disconnect!
The distinction between military and Terrorist targets and flying into a hard Pakistan AD was not his to make.
Exactly where he succeeded and Naravane baulked in Galwan.
With a 1965 sqn strength, this man with a kind smile and steel testicles, has done the right thing by his command and his service. Posterity will see him as the Air Chief who stemmed the rot. And called out the bohotderlagegi aatmanirbharbogus fakeinindia indigenous future continuous babudom kleptocracy.
The @IAF_MCC redeemed itself in OpSindoor and showed itself as a guardian sword in post partition Hindustan, along side @adgpi as usual combatant and senior service.
Change is seldom tectonic, and the 45 Sqn authorized to the Air Force will be made up because of his putting gubernatorial parking slots behind his job as the father of the men and women of the Indian Air Force that he led with inspiration, fortitude and balls put derring-do over PAF airfield and assets deep in the Pakistani Hinterlands.
Brass like him is the reason, people of post partition Hindustan shower gratitude and reverence on its Military.
Any churlish Neta and Babudom manipulation is the reason @BJP4India
@RSSorg have lost touch with the electorate. Such men should be rewarded for their value system, courage under crisis, and the innate ability to be man and material management leaders. Such men of distinction must be used to break the defence fulfillment and reform gridlock. They should be on the boards of @DRDO_India @HALHQBLR @DefProdnIndia not @SpokespersonMoD clerks with no competence or efficacy in Military Commercial domain.
Such men should become Governors and heads of statutory bodies.
Our finest!

Last night IFF, @SFLCin and @geoblockedindia received a legal notice said to be issued purportedly on behalf of the RSS. It’s hard to believe this comes from an organisation that has had a century to practise its paperwork and hence this may even be a weird prank! This notice asks us to stop criticising the Government’s blocking orders and stop documenting them. It also wants us to confirm in writing within seven days (seriously).
We can tell it’s an excellent teaching aid and here are seven lessons from it.
1) Say who you are: The notice names no advocate and gives no enrollment number. It is signed by an “Authorised Signatory” with no name. Replies go to a free Proton Mail ID, and the “office” is a residential flat in outer Delhi. A notice that can’t tell you who sent it is less a legal document than a weather event.
2) Have a grievance of your own: It never says how its client is harmed when we criticise a MeitY advisory. It complains on behalf of the Government’s blocking orders. The Union has no shortage of lawyers, and it hasn’t asked for volunteers.
3) Name the law: It threatens “appropriate legal action” under “the applicable provisions of law” and doesn’t cite a single section of any statute. A threat with no law, is literally an empty threat.
4) Don’t ask people to give up a fundamental right within seven days: The first demand is that we stop “publicly opposing” government directions. In Shreya Singhal (2015), the Supreme Court held that discussion and advocacy of a cause, however unpopular, sit at the heart of Article 19(1)(a). Opposing an order is how its legality gets tested. That is the Constitution working as intended.
5) Check whether the courts asked for the thing you want stopped” In Anuradha Bhasin (2020), the Supreme Court held that orders restricting fundamental rights must be made available so people can challenge them. The Reddit order is on the public Lumen Database because Reddit put it there. Reading a public database and saying what’s in it has a name. It’s called research.
6) Show us the spark and the powder keg: The notice says our work weakens national security measures, but it gives no instance, date or harm. In S. Rangarajan (1989), the Supreme Court held that the danger feared from speech can’t be remote, conjectural or far-fetched. It has to be like a spark in a powder keg. A post about a Lumen filing is not a spark.
7) Read it once more before you press send: The paragraphs run 1, then an empty 2 and 3, then 4. A PIN code wanders into the facts. The account it targets is on “Twitter”.
Our reply is short. The notice is legally deficient because it makes no material allegation and cites no illegality. We will respectfully continue to advance constitutional rights, as we have done before. Notices like this rarely expect to win in court. They expect the recipient to get tired. We often are tired, but it has never changed what we do. Solidarity with @SFLCin and @geoblockedindia.
