I once had to write a story about a woman whose kid was killed by a drunk driver and she sat on the side of the road holding her child’s severed head, so consider yourself lucky if the hardest story you’ve ever written is about a C-list celebrity who ventured into a heated global conflict and got some blowback for it.

Robotaxis won’t just kill short haul flights. Once you can sleep in them, they’ll cannibalize long routes too.
Imagine getting into your Tesla in Austin at 10 PM, make the lie flat seat/bed comfortable, and going to sleep.
While you sleep, the car drives, charges itself, and keeps going.
You wake up at 9 AM in Aspen, refreshed.
The key is perceived travel time.
A 10-hour robotaxi trip where you sleep for 8 hours may feel shorter than a 3-hour flight that requires an Uber to the airport, arriving early, security, boarding, the flight, baggage claim, and another Uber.
Autonomous cars won’t just compete with driving.
They turn sleep into transportation.

I get the Catholic Church has very specific guidelines, but Father Judge should've been declared a Martyr.
He was killed in his religious duties by terrorists acting in the name of Islam. Not doing so treats 9/11 as a civil matter & not correctly as the result of a holy war.
Here is Father Mychal Judge in his last moments.
His mind is stirring and soul is heavy. It’s as if he knows. He whispers prayers to himself and for the tragic events happening above him.
He unfortunately would not survive the collapse of the south tower as debris fell on top of him in the north tower (as seen here).
The next scene is Batallion Chief Pfeifer’s brother Kevin, also deep in his thoughts and what he is seeing in front of him, who also tragically did not survive as the North tower collapsed.
