I'm falling in love with a mermaid! I spent some time today learning mermaid and it's so easy and powerful! I used to do LaTeX graphics to keep the version control of the document, but this is so much easier!

Thoughts on @binance hack. 1. No keeps were compromised. This is a testament to both Binance key managment and to the resilience of PKI in general 2. The fact that a devops laptop had access to over $6B was not the best design choice by binance ...

3. So much respect for Binance to say, the buck stops here, we take full responsibility and we cover all losses 4. I'm glad the hack was not a system level hack and was through a DevOps laptop. It wasn't a zero-day server hack, it might've been social engineering or a link click

This is the CEO of Brale. By far, the most innovative (and fair) stablecoin platform. Zero cost for transfer, and connection to banking rails and many crypto networks at the lowest cost I have ever seen
to everyone who emails every other day asking to pay me for an hour to talk about stablecoins. i will do it for free. brale.xyz/contact - just ask for ben. its faster than me filling out your form and your client will get more out of it. you can add them to the call!

This is one of these clear math problems with a clear answer. I would say about 40% of the answers got it wrong. 10mn would buy at today's price 125 BTC. If you were just born today, your life expectancy is not 125. Also, this is not even accounting for future value discount (FV)
If you had to choose one: ✰ 1 BTC/yr for life ✰ $10M in stablecoins (one time)

The problem with this theory is, it missed the whole reason BTC went from 30K to its current price, ETFs. The vast majority of the price action that affects BTC comes from EFTs inflows and outflows. A crash in the AI sector will take down the market with it and ETFs too.
I don't think an AI bubble burst would hurt BTC much. Bitcoin missed the entire AI rally. Those who bought AI stocks may have already sold their BTC. Now it may be time to rotate back into Bitcoin. AI crash isn't necessarily bullish or bearish for BTC. They seem unrelated.

Can't make this sh!t up. A large part of the internet was encrypted by '4'. 🤣 (Image made by someone else)
‼️ BREAKING: The private keys of 8 certificates from Indian certificate authority eMudhra were compromised, Mozilla says. Firefox blocked them within 3 hours. Each key should be a 116-digit number, but one was just 4. Anyone can guess them and forge HTTPS certs for any website.

A reminder of this tweet from 2016
The last computer software will be an #AI model that learns how to code based on code from @Github. It end this industry.

🛡️ Cybersecurity is not a one-time initiative. It is built into every decision around access, traffic, and infrastructure. During Cybersecurity Awareness Month, we are highlighting the importance of a networking layer that gives teams greater visibility and control. With VyOS, organizations can enforce firewall policies, secure connectivity with VPNs, and protect cloud and hybrid environments without sacrificing flexibility. This month is a good moment to revisit network security posture. 🔒 Learn more about VyOS firewall solutions: hubs.ly/Q04xntxQ0 #VyOS #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth #Cybersecurity #NetworkSecurity #CloudSecurity #Firewall #VPN #SecureNetworking

I Built Non-Autoregressive Decision Models with RL a Year Ago. Then a Frontier Lab Called It a "Breakthrough" laya.convaiinnovations.com/ فيها تفاصيل عن كيفية بناء نماذج مشابهه، وتأكيد على أن الفكرة متداولة من فترة طويلة (حقيقي هي جزء قديم جداً من الذكاء الإصطناعي والـ Machine Leanring) لكن نجح فريق JEV في عرضها بشكل مغري وتقديمها لتطبيقات أكثر ولمجتمع أكبر ..
I ran some real, live evals on Jev vs DiffusionGemma-as-Jev (my patch for vLLM!) DiffusionGemma comes out as the winner, I think. Headlines: Is Jev faster than DiffusionGemma? No ❌ (API vs DGX Spark) Is Jev smarter than DiffusionGemma? No ❌ (they're roughly tied!)

If you use #Flutter, I'm sure you have noticed how slow cryptography could be with the native libraries. I have just published my secret sauce, BoringSSL FFI for flutter pub.dev/packages/boringssl_f… It's open source, in production for over a year. blazing fast, for Android and iOS
