BREAKING… Jury sentences Lindsey Post to FIVE YEARS in prison for one count of Sexual Assault of a Child.
For the second count of Sexual Assault, THREE years PROBATED.
For Improper Relationship, TWO years PROBATED.
Post was a 35yo athletic trainer in McKINNEY ISD who sexually groomed and assaulted a 14yo female athlete at McKinney North High School.
Judge Tom Nowak is now reviewing victim impact statements.

Post pleaded GUILTY on Monday to sexually assaulting a 14yo student at McKinney North High School.
The defense asked for probation. Prosecutors asked for prison time, which could be from 2 to 20 years.
After two days of emotional testimony, jurors (6 men and 6 women) deliberated all day Wednesday without reaching a unanimous decision.

🚨 ICE arrested Rodolfo Rene Lopez Cruz, a Mexican national previously convicted of enticing a minor for indecent purposes through telecommunications and cocaine distribution, in Travis County.
🚨 ICE recently arrested Chinomso Ochie, a Nigerian national previously convicted of a child-fondling offense, in the Austin area.
Angel Dominguez, a former temporary employee at Hendrickson High School in Pflugerville ISD, was arrested and charged with an improper relationship between educator and student.
Pflugerville PD is still investigating.

In Collin County Court today for Day 1 of the trial against McKINNEY ISD athletic trainer Lindsey Post, arrested earlier this year for sexually assaulting a 14yo female student.
Post is accused of assaulting the girl on campus and while the student was in the trainer’s car being driven to school-sponsored events. Five charges were pending.
Prosecutors amended today’s indictment to TWO counts of Sexual Assault of a Child* and ONE count of Improper Relationship Between Educator and Student. Both crimes are second-degree felonies punishable by 2-20 years in prison.
Post worked at @McKinneyNorthHS at the time of the alleged sex crimes. The girl’s family also filed a civil suit against @McKinneyISD and Post.
