Telangana’s transition to a 3-trillion-dollar economy will be clean, inclusive & future-ready, said Hon’ble Dy. CM Shri @Bhatti_Mallu in his keynote on the State’s energy roadmap.
He reaffirmed that:
⚡ Energy is the heart of Telangana’s growth vision
🌱 Shift toward 100% clean mobility
🚌 Hyderabad to host India’s largest e-bus fleet by 2030
🔋 Addition of 20 Giga Watts new renewable capacity (on top of 11.4 GW)
🌳 Urban greening, forest expansion & low-carbon industries underway
He noted that Telangana’s future power demand could cross 1.39 lakh MW by 2047, requiring:
– More renewables & storage
– Flexible thermal capacity
– Stronger transmission
– Digital & resilient grids
– Innovative climate finance (green bonds, blended finance, DFI support)
On just transition, he said coal-dependent districts will not be left behind — livelihoods, MSMEs & new skills will be protected with future-ready sectors like tourism, food processing, textiles & solar manufacturing.
