The rules in this game, it’s not allowed to disclose any vulnerable you reported without get the permission about it , even if it was N/A or information or anything
At the time you submitting the report your not allowed to disclose it
This bug was unvalid, but what if that was a valid bug and they disclosed publicly (I think this the point why)

A Google API key is not always just a Low or Informational finding.
The Story of Submitting some P1s in the last months by the same method
Sometimes the real impact is in what you can do with it.
For example, with Firebase / Google Identity Toolkit, a leaked key may allow account creation directly through the API:
curl -sk -X POST \
"identitytoolkit.googleapis.c…" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"email":"youremail@company.com","password":"Test12345!","returnSecureToken":true}'
Now imagine the application trusts users based on the email domain and does not properly verify ownership.
In that case, you may be able to create an account using an organization email, receive a valid auth token, and access parts of the application that were supposed to be limited to internal users.
At that point, this is no longer about an "exposed Google API key".
The impact can become unauthorized registration, authentication bypass, internal access, sensitive data exposure, or even full access to the application depending on how the backend handles authorization.
So before marking a Google API key as Low, always check what the key actually allows you to do.
The key itself may be Low. The impact behind it may not be.

JWT SQL Injection
jti (JWT ID) is stored in a DB to prevent token replay.
That lookup is injectable.
"jti": "' OR '1'='1"

The $60k bug was an exploit. the extra $37,604 was pure recon. read this:
bug 1: internal Google API with NO permission checks
firefly-pa.googleapis[.]com
inside: a copy job → path A → path B.
problem? it stayed NEW forever. 🧱
so he found the worker callback that tells the scheduler “task complete” - with no caller verification.
called it himself:
{"taskId":"a030d1a000000000","status":{"status":"STATUS_COMPLETE_SUCCESS"}}
scheduler trusted him. job ran. 🚨
then bigstoreIdentifier turned out to accept more than Bigstore paths.
he tried:
[/]etc[/]passwd.borg
💥 millions of lines, including Google employee accounts.
Panel awards ⇢ $60,000
bug 2 ⇢ 3 days later 👀
that single idea paid $37,604 at Google.
the setup: an unauthenticated endpoint copies any file you name —
{"refFilename":"[/]etc[/]passwd"}
and on success returns {}. no filename, no path. the file is right there, but invisible.
what he did instead of giving up:
→ sent [/]etc[/]shadow instead. it FAILS, and the failure leaks the full destination path + filename format
→ wrapped the hidden copy in a /batch request, pinning everything to the same server
→ read the neighboring filenames from the failures — consecutive worker IDs, one gap. that gap was his file
→ interpolated the timestamps, predicted the cycle counter, streamed 771,000 candidates
the server confirmed the exact path. then he read it with his other bug ($60k one):
root:x:0:0:root:/root:/bin/bash ⚡
Panel awards $37,604.40

My favorite bug class right now: **argument injection.** 🎯
Jellyfin had an unauthenticated endpoint that could turn FFmpeg into a file reader.
📍 `/Videos/{itemId}/stream`
An unvalidated query parameter was passed straight into FFmpeg.
The trick wasn't `;id` or shell injection. ❌
It was an `-vf drawtext` filter that made FFmpeg render `[/]etc[/]shadow` into the video response. 👀
✅ No shell needed
✅ No semicolon
💀 Just argument injection.

🚨Bug Bounty Tip: Testing password-reset APIs? Try newline injection in JSON
{"email":"accA@mail.com\naccB@mail.com"}
✅Join t.me/brutsecurity/
If reset links reach both emails, you may have a parameter parsing/input validation flaw worth investigating.
