I bet you look kind." 🥺 I was definitely not expecting this escape to end on such an emotional note but wow did this just hit so hard, I'm tearing up like crazy right now. Ending the arc with the mysterious man we met at the beginning in such a big way is so cool, and him coming to learn how honest and pure Luffy is to even wishing he hadn't blinded himself so he could witness it firsthand... fuck this show is so good what a way to end it off. Using blindness to showcase Luffy's characteristics is such an interesting way to change up how someone views him and highlight such a great new character too. Fujitora is by far the best admiral yet in my opinion, but also the one with the most depth too so it makes sense. Dressrosa was long and had some parts that dragged but moments like this have bumped it so high on my arc list. Again, really incredible writing man 🥹
