Targeting innocent women, who are already among the primary victims of the Taliban’s misogynistic and oppressive rule, exposes the full depth of the cowardice, cruelty, and moral bankruptcy of this illegitimate and inhumane regime.
This marks the 7th killing and assassination of women in just the past 10 days. These relentless murders/femicide are not isolated incidents, they are the bloodstained manifestation of Taliban gender apartheid, systematic discrimination, and the ongoing war against women’s existence, dignity, and freedom.
My heart goes out to the families of the victims. May they find strength and patience in the face of such unbearable grief.
And to the women whose lives were stolen so brutally, may their souls rest in eternal peace and paradise.

Meet @NilofarAyoubi - an Afghan women’s and human rights defender, entrepreneur, and advocate against gender apartheid. After disguising herself as a boy to access education under Taliban rule, she went on to found multiple businesses in Afghanistan, creating jobs for hundreds of women.
Forced to flee in 2021. She served as Regional Secretary for the Middle East and North Africa at the World Liberty Congress for 2023-2025, and was elected as WLC Leadership Council at the WLC General Assembly in Berlin. She also supports refugee aid initiatives across Europe and the United States.
