I continue to be heartbroken over the assassination of Charlie Kirk. He was a voice for a generation, someone who could turn out young people and change an election. He was a passionate voice for conservative values and his movement embodied everything he believed in. He built Turning Point USA from the ground up and gave young conservatives a platform in a world that often tries to silence them. He invited tough questions and he proved that truth wins when it’s tested. We have lost a true warrior for freedom and open discourse. I vividly remember this day, 24 years ago. I was in New York City, the DA at the time for Westchester County and my daughter was on a field trip at the Pentagon. That day, our world changed forever.
