Queen Elizabeth's son says he has no memory of ever meeting Virginia Giuffre. He paid her a reported £12 million anyway. On his 66th birthday, police arrested him. His downfall started with one word he used about Jeffrey Epstein on the BBC: "Unbecoming." He said he regretted that Epstein had "conducted himself in a manner unbecoming." The interviewer stopped him: "Unbecoming? He was a sex offender." In the video below Prince Andrew answers, "I'm sorry, I'm being polite." Four days later he quit royal duties. In the same interview he said he couldn't have been with Giuffre the night she described, because he'd taken his daughter to a Pizza Express in Woking. She said he was sweating heavily that night. He said he couldn't sweat back then, because of an adrenaline overdose in the Falklands War. The £12 million settled her lawsuit in 2022. In 2025 his brother King Charles stripped him of his prince title and moved him out of Royal Lodge, a 30-room mansion he had been renting for a peppercorn a year. The arrest came on February 19, 2026, on suspicion of misconduct in public office. He was released after 11 hours and hasn't been charged. He denies everything Giuffre accused him of. Was he a naive friend who trusted the wrong man, or did that interview show exactly who he was?

Africans haven't forgotten who the Queen was to us. She was the head of an empire built on our subjugation. The 'First Star of Africa'—the Cullinan Diamonds in her crown and scepter—was mined in South Africa in 1905 under colonial rule. It was taken without the consent of the African people. They have demanded its return for decades. The wealth of the empire was built on what they took from us. We remember the real history and we must teach our children.

During Houston’s early voting period, Ronaldo Salgado left an “I Voted” sticker at the roadside memorial for his father, Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, who was killed by an ICE agent in Houston. The memorial has become a gathering place for community members honoring his memory, with hundreds of voters adding their own “I Voted” stickers. Together, the tributes link civic participation with remembrance and calls for justice. bit.ly/4Bv0EeP

NEW: The Times’s Credit Crisis A recent New York Times front-page feature on chemical plants in the Trump era had deep reporting, stark data visuals, and an uncanny resemblance to a smaller outlet’s earlier investigation. Was this a case of unacknowledged inspiration, a steroidal dose of Times exceptionalism, or sheer coincidence? puck.news/media/2026/10/did-…

NEW: Angie Nixon is running for Senate on a huge bet: Medicare for All can win over Trump voters in Florida. To put that theory to the test, we brought Nixon to one of the unhealthiest counties in Florida — where 1 in 5 lives in poverty, thousands are uninsured, and doctors are few and far between.

Astonishing the number of people on the basis of a sycophantic TV interview decided William will 'make a good king' despite all the evidence that he's a lazy, angry, vengeful, bad mannered slum landlord and climate hypocrite. #AbolishTheMonarchy #r4today

IT’’S THE ROYAL FAMILY THAT PROTECTED ALLEGED CHILD ABUSERS AND TRIED TO HELP THEM GET AWAY WITH IT. Just a reminder that where Meghan The Duchess Of Sussex was hoping and waiting on an investigation of Thomas Markle, the Royal Family were threatening people not to reveal Prince Andrew’s links to a child abuser and then The Queen and King Charles paid off his alleged victim of child sex abuse to ensure he evaded a criminal trial so as not to put a dampener on The Queen party (Platinum Jubilee). Let’s not forget King Charles’s ardent defence and campaigning for the child abuser Peter Ball. Chile, he defended and supported that man more than he ever did his own son. #IStandWithMeghan #WeLoveYouMeghan #LawEnforcementGetToWork
