Arudra Garu had Samethalu at the tip of his tongue! For every moment and every situation! I remember a few! But how I wish I had some kind of a recorder to capture whatever he said! Some of them were priceless! And unprintable! 😂

In my friend's house, each doll is neatly packed in small cloth bags made from old sarees/veshtis, bubble-wrapped, labelled and put into trunks that go on top of the loft, until next year. They even give a cute send-off ceremony with a prayer to be able to see them next year!🙏😃

Cinema is a strongly visual medium. Images leave permanent impressions on the mind. A miscast is a miscast! However you want to defend it. An actor is selected for his/her looks and talent (if any). You cannot remove the looks from the actor. Not every face suits all roles!

Are you going to say "looks don't matter" to an industry that mostly thrives on looks?! You would be fooling yourself! Looks do matter in a visual medium. Correct casting can enhance the role and the performance on screen. We have seen countless examples in the past!
