The quality of RWA originators, risk management systems and (technical) safety are some the most important pillars for creating the next RWA protocol that brings offchain RWA yield to @SonicLabs. Most people still misread memecoins. In my opinion a memecoin is a tokenized community, and its quality is a direct reflection of the devs behind it and the community they manage to build. Give it a fun, durable theme and a team that keeps showing up, and it can compound value for years. Build it around a short-lived hype instead, and it dies right there with the hype.
Another way to look at it. Is the dev here for a quick win, or are they actually building something? A doxxed team is a massive plus, because it tells you they're playing the long game.
And here's the part most people underrate: both $THC and $TOONA have been through hell the last year, and the community stayed positive and kept going anyway. Never a rug, only a drive to keep going and vibing. That's the best stress test a meme can get. The ones that survive that aren't here for a cycle. They're here to stay and create serious value.
What I also like about memes is that they never make a technical promise they can't keep. No roadmap full of features that quietly never ship. It keeps the whole thing honest and transparent in a way most of crypto simply isn't.
And the upside is real. Memecoins are one of the last places where the original crypto promise still holds. Where a few dollars can turn into life-changing money. That's why retail is drawn to them, and why they're such a strong gateway into L1 ecosystems.
We're watching exactly that play out on sonic-3:native right now. With everything shifting inside the ecosystem, the strongest memes are already front-running the move and rallying hard. It won't be long before Sonic has its first 100M meme, and I'd put $THC or $TOONA right at the top of that list.
