A woman whose son had gone to war - did not return. Someone told her that she had seen him run away from the battlefield. Enraged she vowed that no son who had fed off her breasts could do that. She went to the battle field wading among the corpses searching for her son. Finally she found him dead with a spear to his heart.
Seeing her brave son on the ground her breasts swelled pride and affection and from those dry breasts sprang forth a spurt of milk.
To the mother of sirappudaiyalan from the purananuru to all of the mothers who fed bravery to their children who have defended this land dharma and our civilization and way of life a namaskaram
(Don't do hallmark holidays but felt a special tribute of this day can be a tribute to our brave mothers)

Eternal laws dictate not
Dominance nor Conquest but Inclusion
The laws within a Nation or
laws of the global comity
have always been enforced with
a threat of violence or outright
violence, to protect artificial
borders how many have we
Killed.
To introduce ideologies
of Unity and seeming Oneness
To bring forth equality and
assumed justice, spirited
cults of Universality and
Social justice of Communism how many have we
Killed.
To serve our ideas of prosperous
Empires, both ancient and
modern, to civilize those
labelled savages and bring
gentleness to seemingly violent
societies, how many have we
Killed.
Above all in service of an
Absolutist god and his
goreless Heaven, a god who
is supposed to be an embodiment
of love and compassion
How many have we
Killed.
The sweetness of Sanatan
is in not having anything
to Impose, the relevance of
sword does not exist.
Exception-In defence of life.
A sword can intimidate but
does not serve the longing
and purpose of Inclusion.
Inclusion not an idea or an
ideology but an essential Truth
The Creation and the Source
are a manifestation of Inclusive
force. Articulating this and
enabling this Unity is Sanatan
And there is no need to
Kill

Ensuring soil is always under shade is essential for soil health and soil organisms to thrive. Congratulations to Tamil Nadu Agricultural University for taking the initiative to transfer academic knowhow to our farmers. Such collaborations are important if we have to improve farmers’ economic situation and revitalize the soil. -Sg #SaveSoil

Less than a fortnight to go for Mahashivratri and the culmination of the Maha Kumbh Mela. The next two weeks are a powerful opportunity to give oneself to sadhana, utilize the natural support present at the Kumbh, and prepare for MahaShivRatri - the great night of Shiva! -Sg

Good bye Bengaluru.
And thank you to my good steed in the city—the BE 6
One advantage of Bengaluru traffic:
Being stationary so often makes it like a live showroom…
Everyone stuck in the traffic alongside you has plenty of time to see and examine the car!
