many people don’t realize just how big a whale can be when the image isn’t to scale
ALT a beautiful, majestic humpback whale overlaid on a map of the united states of america. the whale is as long as the continental states are wide. incredible. also not to scale at all. wow so magical. imagine how big a blue whale could be also not to scale

Revising my (yes I'm still doing it please don't ask) dissertation after coming out as nonbinary sure is a trip
ALT close-up of text on paper. In the middle is the phrase "a queer woman fan" with the word 'woman' crossed out.

Super excited about getting my copy of this book! @elmyra, @visticuffs, and I worked hard on our chapter. It started as a reflection of our time co-editing the TWC special issue on fan studies methodologies and expanded into a much broader chapter. #fanstudies

For the past two months, I've been making calls and digging through old Indian Affairs files from the 1890s and early 1900s. I was helping to find information about the student known as "Dummy Bad Boy" who appeared on the Truth and Reconciliation residential school memorial.

Hey @CBCOmbud it's really not a cute look for your producers to wait until today to try and book reconciliation interviews with intergenerational survivors... and then absolutely ghost when I responded within the hour and cleared my schedule to accommodate.

Since I got anonymously threatened with bodily harm about this article, I am posting it again ahead of a very important day. I won't be ruled by hate. Share this and spread it wide.

Today is going to be rough for a lot of people. Please be mindful of this. 🧡
Shireen's opinions are the only opinions on TSN I actually care about. Let's make sure assholes like this no longer feel welcome in hockey.

We're trying something new with SLAS this semester: not only are Master's students invited to join us now, but we're doing an extended program to better accommodate students' class and teaching schedules!

Some might call the Chicago Blackhawks abuse case isolated, but you would be wrong. Let me show you using only a few teams and players in my area. There is no accountability, men involved, aware, and complicit remain involved in hockey perpetuating a culture that fosters abuse
