Bye Switzerland🇨🇭Bye Proton
Switzerland wants every messaging app, VPN,
and email service over 5000 users to grab your government ID,
log your IP for six months, and decrypt your traffic on demand.
They're doing it by decree, skipping the vote.
The privacy capital, gone.

This post is misleading, as Switzerland’s VÜPF was already overhauled with the 2018 BÜPF revision after a failed referendum; the current proposal is a 2025 partial update that faced heavy backlash, was sent back for revision, and remains a draft. It is not in force.
