Using a target to carry submarines 😏
A new vessel spotted at a Chinese shipyard is likely the world’s first mothership designed to deploy submarine drones. It represents the latest piece in the puzzle of China’s undeclared effort to develop and deploy full-sized uncrewed submarines 🇨🇳

Spot the difference. The paintings of russian and Ukrainian children.
Russia is committing crimes not only against Ukrainian children, but also against their own - by brainwashing them and shaping them into a new Hitler Youth.

🤯 WOW: A Ukrainian grandmother successfully neutralized a Russian fiber-optic FPV "waiting drone" by approaching the landed device and carefully removing its thread spool, rendering it useless.

I’ll just quote myself here, because apparently this aged faster than I expected.
Thirty years ago, a photo like this could have destroyed a politician’s career overnight. Today? Barely worth interrupting the news cycle.
But don’t worry — I’m sure the guardians of “Christian family values” are preparing their furious statements as we speak.
Any minute now. Any minute…

The image appears to be AI-generated. Clearer versions show anatomical anomalies including six fingers on the woman's hand. No major outlets, Getty, AP or Reuters have authenticated it as real.

In the 1960s, workers in a remote part of Siberia cleared an ordinary patch of forest.
BUT, it triggered something far from ordinary. The frozen ground beneath began to thaw and collapse. Today, the scar is more than 1 km (0.6 mi) long.
This is Batagaika crater.

I grew up in a military family, in poverty, bc army pay was shit. We lived in shitty military housing that we paid for, while people called us scroungers because they thought we got "free houses" & "free cars". Now I'm disabled & I'm called a scrounger for receiving PIP. 1/3

NFL quarterback legend Aaron Rodgers:
“There’s been nothing but the obstruction of transparency with this entire administration. Anybody who even liked Trump or thought that things would change…this is a pro-Israel first administration. And when you dig into it, that’s the uniparty. It’s how many members of Congress are sponsored by AIPAC. There is no MAGA movement. Because the guy you elected hasn’t done any of his campaign promises.”

The film is just IDF soldiers confessing, in detail, to horrible war crimes
Replying to @MiddleEastEye
The IDF firmly rejects the allegations made in this film.
The film relies on anonymous testimonies from individuals whose identity cannot be verified, including whether they served in the IDF or not, in what capacity, or whether they were involved in the matters about which the allegations are being made.

The number of scanners a health service has matters.
You can’t diagnose and treat people quickly if you don’t have enough CT, MRI and PET scanners.
So how many do different countries have per million people?
🇯🇵 Japan: 184
🇦🇺 Australia: 94
🇬🇷 Greece: 92
🇰🇷 South Korea: 87
🇺🇸 USA: 86
🇮🇹 Italy: 79
🇩🇪 Germany: 74
🇫🇮 Finland: 55
OECD average: 51
What about in the UK?

I cannot tell you what absolute fiction this is. AI is heading for a crash and this cackhanded Terminator narrative is being engineered to save them. The fact that the unsubstantiated testimony of a former employee has been the top story on BBC News all day is absurd and irresponsible.
This attention-seeking whistleblower will probably be using his newfound fame to launch his own AI startup soon you watch. It's utter nonsense. The world's not going to end. AI will never be able to build bioweapons. It still struggles to spell rhododendron. Put the kettle on. Enjoy your Sunday night.

THE FLY BRAIN ESCAPED THE COMPUTER. I PUT IT INSIDE A PHYSICAL ROBOT.
Scientists released a reconstructed map containing 166,700 neurons from a fruit fly.
I connected it to a Strandbeest.
The panel in the top-right shows the simulated brain running. Its neural activity is translated into motor commands that move the mechanical legs below.
The catch: this is a computational model built from biological wiring. I engineered the interface connecting its outputs to the robot.
First, the fly brain entered DOOM.
Then it played Chrome Dino.
Now it has a physical body.
166,700 neurons.
25 million connections.
One nervous system walking through the real world.
