To human-rights organizations, refugee advocates, and humanitarian activists: please step forward on the IRGC compulsory conscription issue in Canada.
People who fled repression under the Islamic Republic are now facing immigration uncertainty because they were forced to complete conscription years or decades ago. Families are suffering severe mental distress, and some fear that returning to Iran could expose them to persecution, imprisonment, or even execution because of their opposition to the regime.
We are not asking Canada to compromise national security. We are asking for a distinction between people forced into compulsory conscription and those who voluntarily joined or supported the IRGC.
Please raise awareness, engage decision-makers, and advocate for fair, individualized assessments.

Mandatory service should not be equated with voluntary membership or affiliation with the IRGC. This distinction matters for the lives and futures of many Iranians.

They argue that Israelis and Iranians share a common struggle against the tyranny in Tehran, its terrorist proxies and the information war that protects them, and that the historic friendship between the two peoples can help reshape the Middle East.

🚨 This is an injustice. Our loved ones’ lives are at risk.
These Iranian men had no choice. They were forced to complete military service and had no choice over where they were assigned.
They should not now be treated as willing supporters of the very regime they oppose.
Our loved ones cannot safely return to Iran. Some have taken part in political activities against the Islamic regime, including the Lion and Sun movement. They fear arrest, persecution and threats to their lives if they are sent back. Their political activities and the danger they face must be taken seriously.
Sending people back to face persecution would violate their human rights. These are human lives, not just immigration files.
Canadian-born children should not be forced to leave their home and live under that brutal government to stay with their parents. They should not face family separation because their fathers completed compulsory military service years ago.
These families are suffering for something they never freely chose. This is deeply unfair.
Canada must establish clear guidelines that distinguish compulsory service from voluntary involvement. Every former conscript deserves a fair, individual assessment based on their actual duties, lack of choice, personal conduct and risks upon return.
Please listen to these families. Protect their children. Do not let forced service become a lifelong punishment.

تورم مهار نمی‌شود، اما سیاست‌های شکست‌خورده‌ای مثل دلارپاشی تکرار می‌شوند که فقط ثروت خودی‌ها را زیاد می‌کنند. در چنین شرایطی که ریال به ریسک روزانه تبدیل شده، طبیعی است که مردم از آن فاصله بگیرند و به ارزهای باثبات روی بیاورند.
دلاری‌شدن اقتصاد و نابودی پول ملی نتیجهٔ مستقیم بی‌ثباتی دائمی، چاپ پول، فساد گسترده و سیاست‌های نابخردانهٔ این رژیم است. تا وقتی این ساختار سر کار است، اصلاح ممکن نیست و سقوط ادامه دارد.
