On Dia de Los Muertos, we honor the dead by fighting for the living! With Clear The Air coalition, we're joining with community partners in Southwest Detroit, one of the most polluted areas in Michigan, to demand our leaders stand up for our right to clean air!
No matter our color or ZIP code, we all deserve to breathe clean air that's free of cancer-causing pollutants. Sadly, lax regulations in Lansing and Washington leave some communities with clean air while others must contend with high rates of cancer, asthma, and other respiratory illnesses due to the air they breathe.
That's why, on Dia de Los Muertos, we're gathered to stand up for the values we all believe in - clean air should be the right of all, not the privilege of the few!
