Michael B Jordan's first message to Damson after he heard this news.
I will die on the hill that air support has been the backbone of most Western military operations. Take away effective air support, and the capability gap between Western militaries and many African militaries becomes considerably narrower.

The death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person. The common good can be safeguarded and the requirements of justice can be met without recourse to capital punishment: effective systems of detention have been developed that protect citizens while at the same time do not completely deprive those who are guilty of the possibility of redemption. #NoDeathPenalty

Two teenage sisters, Amina and Shamila, in western Uganda narrowly escaped their burning home after their father, Muhamud, doused the building with fuel and set it ablaze while they slept, less than two weeks after they converted from Islam to Christianity.
Muhamud had previously told his daughters he would act “to fulfill Islamic law since they had rejected Islam” by becoming Christians. The girls said they awoke surrounded by flames and realized their lives were in immediate danger.
With the normal exit inaccessible, the sisters said they removed bricks from a wall, created a hole, and escaped through it. The fire destroyed almost everything they owned, including their mattresses, clothes, and other belongings. Christian neighbors subsequently came to their aid and alerted local leaders.
“The fire consumed our shelter but did not consume our faith and hope in Jesus Christ,” Amina said afterward.

HONOURING OUR HEROES BEYOND TRIBUTES
Today, I joined other Nigerians in Awka to celebrate the life and legacy of a distinguished senior military officer and diplomat, our departed elder, Lieutenant General Chikadibia Isaac Obiakor (Rtd.).
General Obiakor served our fatherland with distinction as a senior officer of the Nigerian Army. Beyond his military service, he also served as a diplomat and Military Adviser at the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations. He truly lived an exemplary life of service worthy of emulation.
In my remarks, I reiterated my position that the men and women of our Armed Forces, both serving and retired, deserve the highest honour and respect, not only in life but also in death. Political leaders should personally identify with and honour those who have dedicated their lives to defending our nation.
The recent loss of our military personnel in the aircraft crash and the subsequent helicopter incident further reminds us of the sacrifices our men and women in uniform make every day for our country.
Our retired military personnel deserve timely pensions, accessible healthcare, and decent living conditions, while our serving personnel deserve adequate equipment, proper training, and effective medical care.
Those who defend our nation deserve a nation that protects their dignity and well-being.
May God Almighty grant General Obiakor eternal rest, comfort his family, and protect all our serving personnel. -PO
