On Saturday, the @Team1NG Lokoja Community held another edition of the @AvaxTeam1 Dev Connect.
Our focus was on BUILD GAMES & Retro9000, where we introduced the large audience to building on @avax and explored the opportunities available for Devs
Receiving Submission already 🔺
🤝 Paid partnership
We’ve gone beyond Web3 basics, now we’re learning how to build real products on @avax
Our @Team1NG Developers' BUIDLCAMP in Lokoja was an eye opener.
We learnt:
- How to build a Layer 1 blockchain using @AvaCloud
- How to use Avalanche Academy to grow as a dev or Web3 Believer hyped about @avax
- And did live demos using @coe and the testnet faucet
It was a practical and hands on experience. No long talk, we actually built.
Thanks to @OxSmiles_ and @Melvin_oshiole for the Presentation delivered on Blockchain Fundamentals and AGI: The Future of Autonomous Innovation/Intelligence, respectively.
This is just the beginning. We’re excited for what’s next.

One Continent, many voices and one shared vision >> welcome to @Team1Africa_
Last night, we had another edition of our Africa-wide collaborators call, bringing together 30+ contributors from across the continent for an important conversation about growing the Avalanche ecosystem in Africa.
We all know Africa is home to diverse communities, talents, and opportunities. Bringing these voices together is an important step towards building a stronger and more connected ecosystem.
A big thank you to my co-leads, @Angeliki_T1 and @lavenderesther1, for making this happen and to every contributor who joined the conversation. This is just the beginning as there's so much we can build together collectively🔺

Can @WhatsApp create a new feature where we can schedule messages and texts for an appointed time?
If you think about it deeply I think it will widely help users especially entrepreneurs and founders execute tasks efficiently.....
Say less.
I got @Tangem

The @Tangem effect was REAL!
I was at the @BlockchainFul Conference representing @IbomBlockchain and @tangem_africa.
And yes, the participants showed real interest in taking their wallet security up a notch with Tangem!
These faces are live at The BlockchainFUL Conference 3.0!
Why is your face not here?

One thing I value a lot when it comes to managing my crypto is peace of mind.
That's one of the biggest reasons I appreciate @Tangem and why I chose self-custody.
I love knowing I can recover my wallet without worrying about storing seed phrases.
Let me explain. 🧵

Another thing I appreciate about @Tangem is its durability.
My cards are water-resistant, battery-free, and built with quality materials to last for years.
I also love the packaging and how easy they are to carry around.
Security is also very Important.
Tangem's track record, with no publicly reported successful hacks of its cards, gives me more confidence in keeping my assets there.
I've also had a smooth experience with the easy-to-navigate app.
I'll always preach Tangem! ❤️

What happened to the Avalanche Card?
When it launched, @avax, @AvaxTeam1 promoted it everywhere. Now, I barely see it on TL
Funny enough, more people are using it onchain every month.
I strongly believe that the Card deserves more attention.

BotChain @BOTChain_ai is now LIVE on SliqPay. 🤖🔥
BotChain users can now use their BOT tokens to pay for supported services on SliqPay.
SliqPay is building toward a more interoperable financial world, one where value shouldn't be limited by the chain or system it lives on.
More chains. More assets. More ways to move and spend.
We're building in that direction. 🌍

The more time I spend building on @avax, the more convinced I become that Avalanche is something special.
And it’s not just because of the technology.
It’s the fact that Avalanche gives builders the freedom to create something that actually works for their needs. Whether that’s launching your own L1, building a game, creating financial products or simply turning an idea into something real.
But what excites me most is the people.
Every week I’m meeting builders who are pushing boundaries, trying new things and genuinely supporting each other along the way.
I’ve seen firsthand how an idea can turn into a working product, and how a community can help make that happen.
We talk a lot about adoption in crypto, but I believe adoption starts with people building things that others actually want to use.
And that’s exactly what I’m seeing across Avalanche.
I’m bullish on $AVAX, but even more bullish on the people building its future.
What’s one project on Avalanche you think deserves more attention?

From 1 November, tourists in Japan can get their tax refunds in JPYC, settled on Avalanche.
The policy did the work here. Refunds now come after customs checks at departure, within 90 days. Paying someone who has already left the country is easier with a stablecoin. 🔺

Meet Kieron. 💜
A title tells you someone’s role. Getting to know them tells you so much more.
Today, we’re putting a face to the leadership behind Tippikl and giving Kieron a little appreciation of his own.
Building a business takes commitment, patience, and plenty of work that never makes it onto the feed.
Kieron, thank you for everything you put into Tippikl.
We’re proud to be building alongside you.
