Last night, we had another edition of our Africa-wide collaborators call, bringing together 30+ contributors from across the continent for an important conversation about growing the Avalanche ecosystem in Africa.
We all know Africa is home to diverse communities, talents, and opportunities. Bringing these voices together is an important step towards building a stronger and more connected ecosystem.

The more time I spend building on @avax, the more convinced I become that Avalanche is something special.
And it’s not just because of the technology.
It’s the fact that Avalanche gives builders the freedom to create something that actually works for their needs. Whether that’s launching your own L1, building a game, creating financial products or simply turning an idea into something real.
But what excites me most is the people.
Every week I’m meeting builders who are pushing boundaries, trying new things and genuinely supporting each other along the way.
I’ve seen firsthand how an idea can turn into a working product, and how a community can help make that happen.
We talk a lot about adoption in crypto, but I believe adoption starts with people building things that others actually want to use.
And that’s exactly what I’m seeing across Avalanche.
I’m bullish on $AVAX, but even more bullish on the people building its future.

Morning and happy Sunday!
I got woken up this morning by my 5 year old reading the New Testament.
He wasn’t reading it perfectly. Not even close! But he was trying.
He knew he wasn’t getting it right, and it didn’t make him give up. It made him keep going. No getting annoyed, no frustration. He was doing it because he loved it.
There’s a lot we can take from that as adults.
If you’re doing something you enjoy, don’t give up at the first sign of difficulty. Keep going.

I am really liking what I am seeing from @CharleyCooper01 since stepping into the President role at Ava Labs.
For me, having someone who understands traditional finance, regulation and blockchain matters. If we want more businesses using @avax, we need people who understand what those businesses need before they will commit to building on it.
The technology is a huge part of that, but so are the relationships, the trust and being able to explain where blockchain can actually improve how a business operates.
As someone building in the ecosystem and helping introduce new people through @AvaxTeam1, I want those conversations to turn into products people use and opportunities for builders.
Still plenty of work ahead, but I’m encouraged by what I’m seeing. Keep it coming, Charley!
