Cursor users: check your Claude Code extension. Cursor confirms a trojanized Anthropic.claude-code v2.1.313 in its extension marketplace on 29 October, 09:27 to 20:35 UTC. It estimates up to 5,000 affected users and identifies macOS ARM64 and Windows x64 builds. Loading the extension executes malicious code that collects host information and attempts to install a persistent SSH backdoor. Cursor says SSH access would fail on most hosts due to bugs and insufficient privileges. That limits remote access; it doesn’t undo malicious code execution. Credentials and repositories accessible to that account are potentially at risk. The package has been removed and the C2 taken offline. Uninstalling the extension may still leave persistence behind. If this version ran, investigate the host, remove persistence and rotate accessible credentials from a clean system. Updating the extension alone doesn’t prove the machine is clean. The vendor-confirmed distribution channel is Cursor’s marketplace. Microsoft VS Code uses a separate store. These reports don’t establish a compromised Microsoft Marketplace or malicious npm release. My recommendation: turn off automatic extension updates completely - for yourself and for your developers. With supply chain attacks like this, I don’t think the benefit of another feature or a minor UI fix justifies automatically accepting every new release onto developer machines. Update manually when something stops working, when a bug is actually getting in your way, or when a relevant security fix needs to be applied. Otherwise, leave a working extension alone. Hatred against Muslims is deeply rooted in this society..!! Cops are also part of the same radicalised society!!
A Delhi police officer asking to drag a Muslim woman calling her an anti national in full view of the cameras. This is a complete radicalisation of the police force in the heart of the nation’s capital !

🇮🇳 🚨 INDIA: EVIL MARKHOR CLAIMS BREACH OF INDIAN ARMY SYSTEMS, 15,000+ PERSONNEL RECORDS AND INTERNAL MoD FILES ALLEGEDLY LEAKED A threat actor using the name Evil Markhor claims it breached systems linked to the Indian Army website under India's Ministry of Defence (MoD) and leaked about 3 GB of internal data. The actor claims: * More than 15,000 personnel records with service numbers, ranks, units, contact details, dates of birth, next-of-kin and medical information * CSD car sanction lists, gazettes and veteran address books * Internal MoD correspondence * Dental Corps recruitment dossiers that allegedly contain plaintext passwords ⚠️ Analyst Note: If real, this exposes serving soldiers, veterans and their families to targeted phishing, social engineering and espionage, and the plaintext passwords could open the door to further access. The same actor name surfaced in an earlier claim against Indian defense firm Bharat Electronics, and hacktivist claims in this space are often exaggerated. The Indian Army and MoD have not confirmed an incident. Unverified threat-actor claim, NOT confirmation of a breach. #DDW #DarkWeb #India #Military #DataBreach #ThreatIntelligence

Announcing 3 Critical vulns for hundreds of millions of IoT, Firewalls, OT, and Military devices including: Palo Alto Networks, Comcast, D-Link, HP, Canon, Honeywell, GE, Oracle, Siemens, Rockwell, Digi, Lockheed Martin, Boeing... The vulns are with GoAhead Web Server which is a backend library used by these devices. There's a patch available from GoAhead but that doesn't mean there's a patch available for the devices yet -- that's up to the manufacturer. - TLS traffic over DHE ciphers have a 1-byte secret, "04", meaning anyone can decrypt connections to these devices and steal login credentials and session tokens if the client negotiated with DHE ciphers like the latest TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256, which is extremely likely. - LibreSSL mTLS has been completely bypassed, meaning anyone can connect over mTLS. If you have one of these devices listening on the internet and are expecting mTLS to protect it from attackers, take it offline or patch asap. - OpenSSL Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs) are not enforced, meaning if a user device is stolen or compromised, and you revoke that mTLS cert, nothing actually happens. There are a lot of other attacks this can be used for. These are critical because these types of devices run our world. Water systems, electricity, military, firewalls, critical infrastructure. foxio.io/blog/choose-your-ba…

PwC Data Breach Claim – Everest Ransomware Group Claims to Have Stolen 590 GB of Data Details: cybersecuritynews.com/pwc-da… The Everest ransomware group claims to have stolen 590.69 GB of data from PwC, the global professional services firm. This alleged data theft includes human resources records, training materials, and internal documents. However, the claims are unverified, and PwC has not yet responded. The supplied leak-site screenshot names a directory, pwc-stg.]csod.]com, and describes Cornerstone OnDemand platform materials, regional HR exports, e-learning courses, and integration testing documents. It lists 494 directories, alongside 1,333 original archive containers and 53 nested containers. The screenshot alone does not establish how these materials were obtained. #CybersecurityNews

Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda wishes to travel back in time and beat Emperor Aurangzeb for executing Sambhaji. Meanwhile...
The Aurangzeb obsession has become ridiculous. Vijay wants to travel back in time to beat Aurangzeb. If they somehow made it to the 17th century, they'd probably return to the 21st century with a long list of complaints about how cruel Aurangzeb was to them.

Set session.upload_progress.enabled=0 till next PHP release to block an unlikely RCE vector (CVE-2026-115560). Already recommended for CVE-2026-109619 Wed, keep disabled. Only apps with non-default serialize_handler switching it to "php" at runtime can be affected. #php #phpc

Beyond lab setup the best so far that I could reach to real exploitation on PHP is hitting OOM. No markers, no callback. Best resource seen github.com/9bie/php2shell-by… (initial aslr-on chain), highest promising work, github.com/ikow/php2shell-po… (don't go for the paid module has nothing) and of course the latest update from Calif calif.io/php2shell/
