I genuinely need the Web3 community's help with this. I've tried everything I can to resolve it privately, but I'm getting nowhere. If anyone can help me get answers or reach someone at Derive who can actually address this issue, I'd truly appreciate your support.
UPDATE: @DeriveXYZ is still ignoring this issue.
I first raised this publicly on October 15. Since then, I've contacted your team repeatedly, asked for a clear explanation, and requested straightforward instructions to withdraw my funds.
What have I received? Silence and repetitive copy-paste responses about a compliance flag and KYC. Not a single actionable answer explaining how I can recover my assets or access my trading history.
You claim Derive is self-custodial. Then explain how users are supposed to recover their assets when you restrict access to your frontend and off-chain orderbook.
I shouldn't have to beg for basic answers about my own funds.
@DeriveXYZ, this is your opportunity to address this publicly and provide a concrete solution. Otherwise, I'll continue documenting my experience and making sure the Web3 community understands what happened.
Users deserve transparency, accountability, and a real resolution — not endless automated replies.
Imagine depositing money into a platform, trading on it, and then suddenly getting blocked by a compliance flag.
I contacted @DeriveXYZ several times. Every single time, I got the exact same copy-paste response.
No real explanation. No meaningful review. No help recovering my trading history.
If there's a legitimate reason to restrict my wallet, explain it. If it's a mistake, give me a way to appeal it.
Users deserve more than automated replies when their access is at stake.

Onchain incentives are a matching problem. Protocols pay for TVL and get whoever shows up, mostly capital that leaves with the rewards.
Fixing that in-house means mechanism design, contracts, eligibility, claims and reporting. That is a desk, not a feature.
Rabbithole Labs runs that desk, and it has been running all year. More than $10M in incentives distributed.
