Just two weeks after rolling out Gemini 4 Argon, excited to share a preview of Gemini 4 Carbon - our next frontier model. It has state-of-the-art long horizon coding capabilities driving SOTA performance across the cybersecurity defense lifecycle including detection, validation, and remediation. It also ranks #1 overall on the recently updated v5.0 of Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index at 59.
We're starting by rolling out to a subset of cyber defenders through our Fairwind Program this week and soon expanding access further. Read more at: blog.google/innovation-and-a…

Two months ago, we started the mission to “build OpenClaw with OpenClaw,” and bit by bit, we moved everyone from using their local coding harness to using team.openclaw.ai - our shared agent that knows what everyone’s working on and orchestrates it all.
Multiplayer coding + infinite compute with nodes and cloud sessions has been a game changer for how we build.
Local harnesses feel like relics of the past now.
OpenClaw 2.0 has arrived

Fable feels like a polish freelancer. Shows up, speaks in its own dialect, writes the best code you've ever seen, and then disappears

A short backstory on this one:
A small Google Labs team had an idea to make an app designed to connect you with what matters, without the endless scroll. "Hope scrolling, not doom scrolling" was the hallway pitch. "Go for it."
And today, that little experiment is rolling out.
Meet Dreambeans, a daily dose of inspiration, brewed fresh for you. We're excited to see what you think!
🚨 NEW EXPERIMENT 🚨
Dreambeans is a new, experimental mobile app that uses Personal Intelligence to connect to your Google apps. Every day, it delivers collections of personalized stories, surfacing things you might otherwise miss, alongside topics that are relevant to you, to help you dive deeper into the things you care about most.
Available starting today for eligible US-based Google AI Ultra users (+18), with an open waitlist found on our website below!

It's really bizarre that the premier AGI lab on the planet (outside GDM, who are falling behind in actual products again) is so heavily Polish. 6 top OpenAI contributors have been Poles.
Imagine what Poland + more GPUs could have done. Would they mog China? The US?
What did Ilya see? He saw his own protégé Jakub Pachocki achieve the breakthroughs that had eluded him for years.
Newly released documents from the Musk v. Altman (2026) lawsuit provide a rare look at the resentment that fueled the OpenAI crisis. In November 2023, Microsoft CTO Kevin Scott explained the situation to Satya Nadella:
,,Jakub moreso than Ilya has been making the research breakthroughs that are driving things forward, to the point that Sam promoted Jakub, and put him charge of the major model research directions. After he did that, Jakub's work accelerated, and he's made some truly stunning progress that has accelerated in the past few weeks. I think that Ilya has had a very, very hard time with this, with this person that used to work for him suddenly becoming the leader, and perhaps more importantly, for solving the problem that Ilya has been trying to solve the past few years with little or no progress. Sam made the right choice as CEO here by promoting Jakub.”

Just this past summer, I spoke with @lexfridman about not letting AI write any code directly, but it turns out half the resistance was simply that the models weren't good enough yet! I spent more time rewriting what it wrote than if I'd done it from scratch. That has now flipped.

Our new Gemini 2.5 Computer Use model is now available in the Gemini API, setting a new standard on multiple benchmarks with lower latency. These are early days, but the model’s ability to interact with the web – like scrolling, filling forms + navigating dropdowns – is an important next step in building general-purpose agents.
Developers can try these capabilities via API in @googleaistudio + Vertex AI.

2/5 Agentic web browsing capabilities from Project Mariner make it easier than ever to find and book restaurant reservations. Tell AI Mode exactly what you’re looking for and Search will present a curated list of restaurants with available tables/timeslots for you to choose from. All you have to do is take the last step and finalize the reservation on the booking page (we’ll also expand this soon to event tickets and local appointments).
This is rolling out for Google AI Ultra subscribers in the U.S. through the new “Agentic capabilities in AI Mode” experiment in Labs.
