Reminder that Scott Benton the MP that was kicked out of the Tories for illegal lobbying on behalf of the gambling industry is in Restore.
Gambling is not evil, and a Restore Britain Government will reduce taxes on the industry. Adults should be free to make their own choices about how they spend their own money - a wild thing for a political party to say, I know. Britain has a successful gambling industry that supports local economies all over the country. In my constituency alone we have horse racing, a greyhound stadium, plenty of arcades and more. We should be encouraging responsible operators to thrive, not taxing them into dust. Problem gambling is an issue and should be properly addressed. But punishing an entire industry, costing thousands of jobs, for the actions of a very small number is not the answer. Restore Britain will back British gambling.

Season 21 ep 2 of South Park is the only existing "thats fair" animated mockery of Trump. Even at his most unpopular most people still dont know how to mock Trump in a way disinfected right wingers can laugh along too, despite their own criticsm

Trump deserves mockery, issues like Iran arnt partisan, but take the non Garrison south park trump where they mocked popular policies like immigration or his own voters instead of political issues in their abstract just proves how much I hate the media establishment

Mind if we zoom out a bit.
For Éamon de Valera, Ireland being an economic basket case was a price worth paying for not being part of the Union and never, ever being seen as British. When de Valera moved into the Taoiseach’s office in 1932 Ireland’s population was 2.95 million. In 1959 when he became President after only two short spells out of power it had fallen to 2.85 million. lauraperrins.substack.com/p/…
