If Trigger had complete control, Adam would have integrated his body into Arasaka's systems until he "becomes the city itself" and we would have had the most cinematic final fight of David destroying him physically while Lucy destroys him digitally and the city turns to ashes.

50% of oomfs hating on cyberpunk but i stand strong that it's a 7.5/10. or like maybe a 7. I think it's kind of like Skyrim (but not as bad) where if you pick it apart there's a lot of "bad game design" that crumbles in front of vibes and experience

The questions it poses are actually pretty interesting and nuanced, and it doesnt get enough credit for that. Is freedom worth attaining for its own sake? How do we become the people we know? is this a process even worth fighting, or is it a privilege? its good!

I’m sorry. I love Nathan Fielder but I can’t imagine caring about if Amanda Seyfried feels regret about how she portrayed Elizabeth Holmes on a Hulu show. Baffling that Fielder and Oppenheim thought this was a critical thing to focus on in the doc.

Version on the right is more true to life! Real people typically don't carefully compose entire paragraphs in their head before they start to speak, especially if they're unexpectedly overcome by emotion.

I don't think they're *performative* necessarily, just taking themselves too seriously. They're made by a group of 20-25 year olds who are just beginning to introspect, and don't yet know that their ideas have been done already and aren't actually all that interesting

The reflect was the least problematic part of her kit. Nerf her ranges to midrange and give her a new E and make her a proper battlemage and she immediately becomes 10x more interactive, with an interesting defensive option!

Interacting with her is almost always a mistake, because she outranges you, and if you reach her, she has the reflect. You either need to give more opportunities to interact (lowering her range) or remove reflect. Obviously Riot took the shitty option.
