I feel like whoever runs for president I hope the winner is someone that can check a multitude of “historic first” boxes all at once so we can get a few knocked down quickly. This is the only way forward, I mean it’s not like there’s a limitlessly # of permutations. Right?

The most privileged political opinion a person can hold right now is hating on the ballroom 😆Is that what they talk about at the kids table?

This young woman is an intellectual infant. The correct response to her would’ve been to call her a moron and a moral coward. She’s never been given boundaries(don’t touch the stove) and she lacks the conviction of her words. I’d like to think
this is not a small group of people on the left anymore, but a large, dominant faction without whom democrats can’t win elections. and there is no debating them, because they aren’t interested in changing your mind. they just earnestly want you to die.

this bit will dry up eventually among these libtards, but they’re derivative people who only parrot their same tired tropes over and over. They bring nothing useful to the table, which means they shouldn’t have a seat.

Some of y’all, as a kid never loved 2nd hand smoke so much that you’d stand close to a smoker and they’d inadvertently burn your forearm when they swept their hand to flick the ash and it shows.😆

Reminds me of a story from my youth. Used to be an old drunk that was a downtown fixture. One night in the bar he’s sitting there, clearly had pissed his pants, asks me for a cigarette…

So, I give him a cigarette, turn around. He grabs my shoulder. I turn to face him. “What’s a matter? You’re not a Boy Scout?” He puts the cigarette in his mouth and juts his head forward for me to light it. Old drunks can be handful at their worst and kinda funny at their best

People really don’t understand Soros’s gambit.
Elon Musk has spent more money on American elections in the last two years than George Soros has in his entire life.

a very simple solution to virtually every problem would be to stop allowing people who live off taxpayer money to vote anyone whose entire livelihood depends on the government taking money from other people will always vote for a government that takes more money we’ve built a system where people can literally vote to give themselves more of other people’s money the conflict of interest is beyond ridiculous and if you remove the incentive you remove the problem
The point of no return by Richard von Mises is worth reading: "A state becomes almost unreformable when the majority of the population is financially or structurally dependent on the state (state employees, civil servants, recipients of subsidies, grants, or transfer payments, etc.). As soon as those who net benefit from or are supported by the state outnumber those who do not, the system blocks reforms, since the majority votes out of self-interest for the preservation or expansion of state services." Does this sound familiar? Some European countries, France, Belgium, Finland are already way beyond that point, closely followed by Germany, Spain, Austria and Italy. It works for a while, as long as markets buy more sovereign debt at reasonable interest rates. The party ends when they stop though. For France, they stopped this month, Belgium will be next. The longer the socialist illusion persists, the more painful the inevitable cuts and adjustments will be. It’s pure arithmetic. Good luck Europe, good luck Euro. Buckle up, it won’t be pretty.

The people who said it was a Trojan horse for single payer were undoubtedly correct.
Obamacare was a giveaway for some lower income people who could qualify for Medicaid, but a disaster for the middle class. The people who said it was a Trojan horse for a single payer system may have been right - it may have been designed to make the system so expensive that everyone would want Medicare for all.

The final 2026 US budget is out… One of the great political moves by the left in recent years has been convincing a large portion of America that we don’t already spend the vast majority of our money on healthcare and entitlement programs.
