There was never any reason to pick Wardley over Dubois. People picked him 1) bc they were eager for there to be a fresh face at the top who hasn’t already lost 2x to Usyk, and 2) bc Wardley is “more charismatic” (scare quotes bc Daniel has a uhh special kind of charisma lol)

The “issue” that is jeopardizing Fury-Joshua is Dana White’s involvement, multiple sources told @SInow. @Turki_alalshikh, who is bankrolling the fight, wants him as a promoter. AJ and Eddie Hearn don’t, and have a contract that says Zuffa can’t be. Fight very much in peril.
