In conclusion, making such statements without any evidence is the opposite of responsible behavior. It is the very definition of FUD — it cannot be proven wrong but there’s also no evidence whatsoever of it being true. n/n

FOUR DAYS BEFORE HIS OWN INAUGURATION, A FOREIGN ROYAL WIRED THE TRUMP FAMILY HALF A BILLION DOLLARS IN SECRET Not a rumor. Not a leak. Documented. Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed — Abu Dhabi's deputy ruler, UAE's national security adviser — bought 49 percent of World Liberty Financial through a shell entity Half a billion dollars total. $187 million of it routed straight into Trump family entities. Four days before Donald Trump raised his hand and took the oath Then the payoffs started rolling in Changpeng Zhao pleaded guilty to money laundering in 2023. Ran Binance. Processed cash for terror groups. Donald Trump pardoned him in 2025 Days later — DAYS — Binance started promoting World Liberty Financial's coin on its US platform. The same platform the Trump family had just partnered with through a foreign monarch's secret cash Meanwhile the DOJ crypto enforcement unit — the one that actually built the Zhao case, the one that actually built the BitMEX case — got disbanded. Gone. By year's end the SEC filed fewer enforcement actions than in twenty years Wall Street Journal reports Binance fired its own employees this year for flagging a billion dollars moving to sanctioned Iranian entities. Same exact conduct as the guilty plea. Same platform. Zero consequences American families who lost people on October 7th are suing Binance right now, alleging it moved money for Hamas and Hezbollah Don Jr's net worth jumped sixfold. Eric's jumped tenfold. Trump personally disclosed over a billion dollars in crypto income while regulators got defanged and a foreign royal's secret half-billion sat quietly in the family ledger This isn't a policy disagreement This is a foreign government buying a sitting president's family business four days before he took power, then watching him pardon the very felon whose platform pumped that business And nobody in this administration is even pretending to be embarrassed

Stroke of a Pen I told Opus 5.5 to read my Bitcoin & monetary-history wikis & make a music video with code only. it used ElevenLabs for the track. Then a swarm of agents storyboarded and coded a 3:23 portrait reel. ~75 shots cut on the beats. Had to do 2 revisions - first the people looked like poorly animated stick figures & it rewrote the rigs. Then I said use matrix code to make it more interesting. Impressive!

While individual months are noisy, one thing remains true. Nothing stops this train.
BREAKING: The US Government officially posts its largest July budget deficit in history, at -$432 billion, due to an acceleration in federal spending. Interest on US debt rose +$26 billion from last July's levels to an alarming $118 billion for the month. This puts total interest expense for FY2026 up to $1.17 trillion in FY2026. As a result, interest expense has officially surpassed both National Defense and Medicare spending. In other words, the US government now spends more money just on interest than it does to fund the entire US Military or to provide healthcare for seniors. We cannot afford higher interest rates.

It wasn’t supported by miners across the world, by exchanges or other high-volume nodes, by most developers, or by most investors, influencers, etc. It just didn’t reach consensus, plain and simple (which is normal for a fork less than a year old; it’s in a long line). It’s not as though there was any pressure on miners. There was no substantial “other side” that miners won against. A few thousand people running low-volume nodes doesn’t constitute consensus, and so the fork wasn’t successful.

The toxic bitcoin maximalist movement might be dying But some of the damage that it did is truly devastating and irreversible Cancelling Andreas Antonopoulos and Trace Mayer, only to replace them with dumber preachers still hurts Calling the big blocker brothers stupid shitcoiners instead of trying to find the good elements in their development process is also a huge mistake Roger Ver was right about delaying adoption by a decade… and in the meantime we have more convenient payment options like Apple Pay, Venmo, CashApp, stablecoins Last but not least, price models like Stock to Flow (S2F) have blinded people into believing that limited supply is everything that matters. It’s the demand that creates value and we clearly failed to create more demand for payments and more demand for block space So yeah, it’s been a fun 9 years. But the movement largely failed while breeding a culture of arrogant complacency and intellectual laziness. This is not what winning looks like.

The coldcard incident should be considered nothing short of an act of war on Bitcoin holders. This shows how far behind we are on bring about safe and reliable self custody for the average man. Meanwhile, the whole space is busy with idiotic bip110 nonsense.

BREAKING: The wealthiest 1% of US earners now own 50.1% of US equity and mutual fund holdings. To put this into perspective, their ownership stood at 40.1% in 1990 and 39.6% in 2001. At the same time, the next 9% wealthiest households own 37.3%, and the middle 40% own just 11.7%. By comparison, the bottom 50.0% of earners hold just 1.1%. As a result, the top 10% of earners now own ~87.4% of all equity and mutual fund assets. Asset owners are the only winners in this economy.
