Not to be insensitive but I made a fairly inexpensive investment in a moderate inverter setup that gives me almost 24 hours electricity even when there is no light So I’ve completely solved worrying about light and I even want to invest more Do we consider investing back into what make us earn money And yes I’ll get but why do that if the country is a working country. It is what it is why not find a way to thrive regardless? Even inexpensive setup exists that can still guarantee your work devices are still powered for you to work.

Naomi Osaka's Grandfather Refused to Speak to Her Mother for Years. In 2018, He Wept Watching Naomi on Television Somewhere in Hokkaido, a 73-year-old man watched his granddaughter on television, and wept. His name is Tetsuo Osaka. And for years, he had not spoken to his own daughter. Her name is Tamaki. She grew up in Nemuro, a fishing town at the eastern tip of Hokkaido. Her mother's ancestors fished in the Kuril Islands until the Soviet Union took them over at the end of the Second World War, and the family moved to Nemuro. For high school, Tamaki went to Sapporo. There, in 1990, she met a Haitian-American college student named Leonard François. They kept the relationship secret for years. When Tamaki's father began pushing the idea of an arranged marriage, she told him about Leonard. He did not approve. He accused her of bringing shame on the family, because Leonard was not Japanese or simply he was Black. The couple moved far away from Hokkaido, to the city of Osaka. That is where Naomi was born, in October 1997. Her surname, in the end, came from her mother's side. For a long stretch, Tamaki had little to no contact with her family. Accounts differ on how long. One says about five years. Another says about a decade. A third says twelve years. Then, slowly, the silence ended. Naomi's Japanese grandfather had been against the family's plan for her tennis, and the decision to homeschool her. But he came around. Eventually, he became one of her biggest supporters. When she won the US Open in 2018, he was 73, and he cried. In January 2019, at 74, he smiled at a press conference in Nemuro, the town his daughter had left. In 2021, he told a Japanese newspaper that he would like Naomi to open a tennis school for children in Nemuro. He likened her to an alpinist, always going after higher mountains.

I’ve always believed in choice so yh I agree.
i think no-one is really compatible, both platonically or romantically. i think you choose the people by your side and you make constant efforts and learn how to love them and cherish them and i think that's so much more beautiful than just fate or compatibility

ADHD can make you tired without doing anything, and that confused me for years. My brain keeps running the whole day, even when my body is resting. It goes over plans, conversations, things I forgot and things I might forget. That background thinking uses real energy. So when I say I'm exhausted after a day of doing nothing, I mean it.

My ADHD diagnosis made me realise that my distractability, forgetfulness and productivity issues were not the huge character flaws I thought they were. I have so many ideas, dreams, and things I want to do, and EVERY DAY it feels like I am fighting my brain to see them realised.
On the topic of ADHD, I just want to put down some thoughts because it feels like more and more people these days keep doing the "look at me, I'm so ADHD, I'm so quirky!" but they don't have ADHD and don't understand the real negative impact it has on your own life. ADHD is a disability. Period. It can be incredibly debilitating, where you can barely function "normally". With my type of ADHD, yes, there are many times where I have a short attention span, can't stay focused, can't sit still, forgetfulness (short term, working memory), etc. All of the "typical" symptoms of ADHD that people use to label themselves with. And I'm not saying that if you have ADHD and these are your main symptoms, that you're experience is invalid. No no, there's a reason the main symptoms are so common among people with ADHD. What I'm saying is that: ADHD is so much more than this. Example of one of my biggest ADHD struggles: There are days I can't take care of myself. I can't make myself shower, I can't brush my teeth, I can't make food for myself, I can't get up to refill my water, I can't clean or do chores, I procrastinate important adulting things, I can't respond to text messages, etc. And you might be thinking, "that's so gross" or "you're so irresponsible for an adult" or maybe "you lack discipline" YEAH: it is gross, it does come across as irresponsible. I'm not proud of it. But the main point here is that: it's not that I DON'T want to take care of myself/do important life stuff. It's that I CAN'T. This is what is called "executive brain dysfunction". No amount of willpower, discipline, or typical self-motivating techniques will get your brain to do what you want, when you want. Even if you know it's important or urgent. Remember, this is just the tip of the ADHD ice burg. There's so many aspects of ADHD and things I probably forgot to mention. But again, this is just me posting my own life experiences with ADHD on the internet, not an informational book. I'm all for spreading awareness and CORRECT information about my disability, to help teach others who might not know much about ADHD. The more who are aware and educated about ADHD, the more people will become more understanding of our struggles (or at least that's the hope) But please, enough with the internet trend of "having ADHD makes you so quirky and unique" And since this is Twitter dot X dot com: yes, I do have an official ADHD diagnosis. If you have any type of ADHD, feel free to share your own experiences in the comments. One of my special interests is learning about ADHD/neurodivergence by reading about other peoples experiences! πŸ€—

Let me tell you people something, APC is SCARED. They know Hamzat is not popular with the general public even if he’s the β€œultimate politician” (whatever the fuck that means) within his party. They know Tinubu has done nonsense and is unfit. They know he needs to be out. They know we are tired. They are scared!!! So all this talk about it being impossible to defeat the incumbent, it’s to make you feel defeated before you go vote. Laugh in their faces. Go there and VOTE PETER OBI!

Struggling is even an understatement.
Like I don't think people understand the absolute paralysis that takes over. Your brain is SCREAMING at you "get out, eat , brush, shower, clean" but your body won't move, and something that's BASIC as brushing teeth is immense effort like running a marathon.
