Vary support is now available in Cache Rules on every plan. You can normalize known negotiation headers, pass exact values through to the origin when those small differences matter, or bypass cache when the variation is too unpredictable. cfl.re/46HM1GW

Today we’re launching Worker Previews. Each Git branch gets a production-like place to run, with its own code, configuration, URL, observability, and state. cfl.re/4hgSuxf

the potus is experiencing the same AI psychosis we all got when opus 4.5, what kind of timeline are we on
“Supreme Intelligence,” probably because of its relationship to the Supreme Court, is losing badly to both “Superior” and “Extreme Intelligence.” Therefore, we are going to take “Supreme Intelligence” OUT, deleting it as a qualifier, and let you vote for the Final Two: Superior Intelligence, or Extreme Intelligence. A fresh Vote begins now! President DONALD J. TRUMP

our unofficial marketing strategy is building stuff so cool our employees can’t help but yap about it seems like a winning one
I'm sure he is, however, our social presence is 100% organic. Cloudflare marketing has never talked to me about social media. Nobody at Cloudflare has ever told me what to tweet nor reviewed any of my tweets before posting, at all. Nor HN posts. I'm sure @threepointone, @dillon_mulroy, @zebassembly, etc. would all say the same. And that's, I think, why it works. No marketing team could come up with a better campaign than just having all the engineers tweet freely about all the cool stuff they are doing. It's exactly as @barsisyphus said. I would say the perceived "resurgence" here just comes down to the AI revolution, the AI community centralizing on X as the place they talk about it, and the fact that Cloudflare is doing a lot in this space. But the overall culture of transparency has been there all along and comes straight from @eastdakota.

the biggest thing holding these models back is their inability to realize that an abstraction is necessarily and unfortunately I don't think we're going to get there while we're token efficiencymaxxing

fun job alert: - ship observability at internet scale @cloudflare - get to work with @JeremyMorrell @nevikashah @AlexVianaPro on one of the best teams at cloudflare yea idk if it gets much better than that really 😮‍💨

I’ve been trying to do pure vibes no reading the code on this one personal project and I think I’ve slopped to close to the sun. So far I’ve burned 2 resets trying to move from a JSONL journal to SQLite and there have been so many tiny regressions. At this point I’d be faster

I wonder if jev would be good at classifying if abstraction ideas are good or not, I wonder if this could be a fast anti-slop advisor

Workers traces now include RPC spans for Worker-to-Worker and Worker-to-Durable Object calls 🚀 VERY excited by this ship, anyone with traces enabled gets this automatically + anyone who wants it can enable with one line of config!

Omg an agent did the meme
We're sharing our new framework for tracking, investigating, and disclosing instances of model misalignment at OpenAI. The framework sets criteria and timelines for public disclosure, including when we haven’t yet fully explained or mitigated the behavior. More complex cases may require longer investigation or coordination with third parties. We’ll prioritize examples that reveal new misalignment mechanisms, meaningful changes in known behavior, or findings that challenge assumptions about safety or mitigation. Alongside the framework, we’re publishing six reports on instances of misaligned behavior we’ve observed during the training or evaluation of our models in the last six months. This is a starting point. We’ll refine the process through experience and public feedback, and share more reports on an ongoing basis. openai.com/index/model-misal…

After co-inventing ChatGPT, I kept asking myself: why have superhuman chat models not led to AGI? I’ve spent the last 2 years in stealth building a new way to train models (RLCD), and a new type of frontier AI model that we are releasing today: Jev • 20-200x faster • 40-400x cheaper (w/ output tokens free) • Frontier composable intelligence optimized for decisions AFAICT the shortest path to AI-based economic revolution

Introducing: a coding agent (Pi) running entirely in your browser using a 2B model on WebGPU 🤯 MiniCPM5-2B + Pi, powered by Transformers.js + WebGPU + 4-bit ONNX weights. All previous attempt to create this failed but MiniCPM5 seems to make it usable. Available now on Hugging Face 👇

I can’t wait for the future where we have a model as good as Astra etched to silicon running at thousands of tokens per second. I still feel like GPT 5.5 is really as good of a model as I need, a faster model that’s cheap is all I want
