The reason Zayn Malik is getting lashings is because the man signed a fucking letter against AI in artistic spaces.
The same fans residing up his ass right now have brutally attacked people who use AI art of him (which should be called out, I agree). Just for him and his team to blatantly use AI (cheap looking AI tools at that) to make a music video
It’s not just the AI. It’s the hypocrisy of this guy to be against something just to turn around and use it, then to act like he gives a fuck about the environment after. That’s the fucking problem here.

i feel like some people don’t understand why others are so against musicians using ai. it’s mainly because generative ai is bad for the environment, lacks any creativity cause it steals from real artists, and it’s kinda just scummy for a rich artist to use ai instead of just paying someone
