I attended today’s Juma’at prayers at the National Mosque, Abuja. Shortly after the prayers, I witnessed the wedding between Abubakar Umar Abdullahi and Hafsat Mohammed Danjuma Goje, which was solemnised by the Imam of the mosque. Hon. Ali Bukar Dolori and Professor Ahmed Modibbo served as the Wakil and Waliy for the groom and bride, respectively. I warmly congratulate the newlyweds and pray to Almighty Allah to bless their union with enduring love, peace, happiness and prosperity. Congratulations!

APC SAK Continues to Resonate Across Kano North Senatorial District Two groups of grassroots politicians from Ghari, Tsanyawa and Makoda Local Government Areas have reiterated their commitment to ensuring the victory of all candidates of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the forthcoming general elections. The groups pledged during separate visits to me in Abuja last night, reaffirming their support for the APC SAK movement. The first group, comprising grassroots politicians from Ghari and Tsanyawa LGAs, was led by the member representing the area in the Kano State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Garba Ya’u Gwarmai. Despite his inability to secure the party’s ticket during the primaries, Hon. Gwarmai and his supporters pledged to mobilise, campaign and vote for all APC candidates, from the Presidency to the Senate, House of Representatives, Governorship and State Assembly. “From our polling units to wards and across our two local government areas, we will ensure the victory of all our party’s candidates. This is because of you,” he said. Similarly, a broad-based delegation from Makoda Local Government Area, comprising clerics, traditional rulers, elder statesmen, youths, women’s groups and traders, among others, also embraced the APC SAK movement for peace and development. The delegation, led by a former Chairman of Makoda LGA, Alhaji Mahmuda Adamu, included Alhaji Mukhtari Sale and other prominent stakeholders. Hon. Adamu, who also contested the APC primary for the State House of Assembly, reaffirmed his commitment to the movement. I commended Hon. Gwarmai and Hon. Adamu for demonstrating exceptional loyalty, love and commitment to our people and the party, despite the outcomes of the primaries. Insha Allah, their sacrifices and commitment will not go unrewarded. I pray that Allah SWT grants them opportunities to occupy even higher positions than those they contested for after the general elections. My victory is their victory. I also reassured them of our unwavering commitment to improving the living standards of our people. The numerous interventions and projects we have initiated are only the tip of the iceberg. In the next Assembly, Insha Allah, we will not only double our efforts but also introduce fresh ideas to consolidate our people-oriented projects and programmes across Kano North Senatorial District. The visits also featured the disbursement of my N100,000 business support empowerment grants to about 200 grassroots politicians, alongside the distribution of 30 motorcycles, 15 sewing machines, 15 grinding machines and nine refrigerators to support their livelihoods and grassroots engagement. The APC SAK movement continues to gain momentum across Kano North, driven by our shared commitment to unity, peace, development and the collective victory of our great party.
