🚨 Health centers overwhelmed with wounded ENDF soldiers following major Fano offensive on Wadla–Delanta–Dawunt front Health centers in Wegel Tena, Kon, Gashena, and Estayish have reportedly been overwhelmed with wounded regime soldiers following major fighting between Fano and regime forces along the Wadla–Delanta–Dawunt front in the Amhara Region on September 8th, 2026. Sources on the ground indicate that the number of wounded soldiers has exceeded the capacity of the local health facilities. Regime forces are reportedly preparing to evacuate wounded personnel by helicopter overnight from Wegel Tena, Gashena, and possibly Kon to other locations for treatment. The latest information follows reports that more than a division of regime forces suffered heavy losses during the fighting. Among those killed was a senior military commander assigned above the corps level, who was reportedly struck in the forehead by sniper fire. The remains of the commander, along with those of battalion commanders and other ranking officers, have reportedly been transported to the China Camp in Wegel Tena. Two regime military patrol vehicles were also completely burned during the fighting, while a military Ural truck mounted with a ZU-23 was struck by Fano mechanized units.
