With STAR Voting, give your favorite candidate 5 stars, your least favorite candidate 0 stars, and score the others as you like!

Our current election system often shuts out third-party candidates and rewards negative campaigning. STAR Voting and Approval Voting give voters a stronger voice, reduce the spoiler effect, and make elections more representative. Learn more at equal.vote. #STARVoting #ApprovalVoting #ElectionReform
Don't like the candidates on your ballot? They were almost certainly chosen in the primaries using choose-one voting, meaning the lesser-evil issue likely played a role in who made it to the general election.
Even if you like some of the candidates on your ballot, vote-splitting might cause your vote to not carry the same weight as other voters in the general election.
STAR Voting fixes this problem. 👉 starvoting.org

Please check out rcvchangedalaska.com for a real-world example of vote-splitting with RCV. Alaskan politicians have learned from this experience and their strategy has shifted back to resembling a pre-RCV strategy.
Better voting methods exist, such as STAR Voting. ⭐️
Thanks to volunteer Adam Zielinski for promoting STAR Voting in the Willamette Week’s letters to the editor!

Many candidates are mudslinging in the run up to the #midterms. It’s embarrassing!
Did you know that candidates are incentivized to mudsling under choose-one voting? STAR Voting and Approval Voting are two voting methods that incentivize consensus-building! Try them for yourself: buff.ly/wWQ6dg9

On Oct 11th, 2014 STAR Voting was invented! A hybrid approach, STAR Voting combines a 0-5 star rating style ballot with a built in top-two runoff. Happy 12th birthday STAR Voting!

The five star ballot lets voters easily show who they prefer and how much or little they like each option. The top-two runoff ensures that every vote is equally powerful and ensures majority preferred winners whenever possible. 2/3 ✨💫✨

Right now, voting your conscience is treated like throwing your vote away. That's by design.
STAR Voting fixes it.
I endorsed it as the Libertarian candidate for LaGrange County Council, because I'd rather win your honest vote than your scared one.
