Highly suggest everyone benefit from our dear Shaykh Sami. Masha'Allah, he is a very balanced and learned scholar who will teach you to engage with the sacred sciences traditionally, building a good foundation while also teaching critical thinking and analytical skills.
All praise is to Allah, I am happy to announce the launch of burhanuniversity.com, a passion project of mine and my colleagues which we have been working on over the last year.
After consulting many scholars, experts and students of knowledge, we have devised a formula (1/4)

In a religion, you're "forced" / obliged to do a lot of things like praying 5 times a day and fasting for an entire month but only the Hijab is controversial because it immediately gets in way of the commodification of the biggest product: women's bodies, hence the controversy

About 70,000 tents sheltering displaced Palestinians were flooded in Gaza within roughly 12 hours of the season’s first winter storm.
Aid groups say Gaza needs 200,000–300,000 new tents or caravans.
They hold Israel responsible for restricting shelter materials, fuel and heavy machinery.

Last night was one of the worst nights Gaza has seen. The bombs have never stopped raining down on them, and when the actual rain fell upon them, their tents flooded. So many missing limbs, all missing loved ones, most without homes. And the world just pretended it stopped. I didn’t even post an image with people this time because they’re sick of showing us images of themselves in desperation without action on our part. A reminder to you and me to not forget them because they’re no longer in your feed.

In this picture I am sitting with one of the great scholars of Somalia, Shaykh Abdulkarim Hassan Hoosh.
The Shaykh is deeply rooted in knowledge. Over the years he has taught many of the Islamic sciences. His speciality is usul al-fiqh, and he is also firmly grounded in tafsir and much more. But that is not why I am sharing this.
It was the last ten nights of Ramadan in Makkah. We had just prayed Taraweeh and Tahajjud in the Haram, and on our way back we sat down together on these steps. The Shaykh has never filmed himself and has never allowed his face to be photographed. To the crowds passing by, he was simply an elderly man resting after prayer.
While we sat there, a group of people came up to me with questions. They wanted rulings on various matters. Beside me sat a giant of knowledge, and not one of them turned to him. They did not know who he was. To them he was anonymous.
I was struck by it. SubhanAllah, we live in a time when fame and popularity have become the measure of whom we ask and whom we consult. Those brothers cannot be blamed for not recognising him. But the moment showed me something: a man can carry an ocean of knowledge and pass unnoticed, while others are sought out because they are seen. Yet in sha' Allah, he is known to Allah for the good he has done for this Ummah, and that is the recognition that truly matters.
My brothers and sisters, too often we decide whom to respect and from whom to take knowledge by how well known they are, rather than by what they carry. Let us not build our religion on who is famous, who is popular, or whose name everyone recognises, while the true people of knowledge sit among us unseen.
As Imam Muhammad ibn Sirin said: "This knowledge is religion, so look carefully at whom you take your religion from."
Knowledge is not fame. Popularity is not scholarship.
May Allah preserve Shaykh Abdulkarim and all the hidden scholars of this Ummah, and grant us the wisdom to recognise and honour them.

Why were we not born in heaven?
al-Imām Shams al-Dīn Ibn al-Qayyim said:
When Allah ﷻ sent Adam, father of mankind, down from Paradise, He did so for wisdoms beyond minds to grasp or tongues to describe. His descent was thus the very essence of his perfection, so he might return in the best state.
Allah ﷻ willed that Adam and his descendants taste enough of this world’s toil, grief, worries, and afflictions to magnify in their eyes the worth of entering Paradise in the Hereafter.
For a thing’s beauty is revealed by its opposite. Had they grown up in the abode of bliss, they would not have known its worth.

When you first start practicing/embrace Islam, you may want to jump to preach because of your good intentions to want to guide others. You can, but you don’t realise yet you are climatising to a new normal & need time to face your own personal challenges. You owe that to yourself.

As a Muslim- You can see the way the entire Media are protecting their Religion .
They removed 'Pastor' or 'Church' from him.
Don't let any Media gaslight or guilt trip you to hate Islam or Muslims because of some criminals.

How are you lecturing others when you don’t know basic fiqh? The Hanbalis permit expelling the nutfah without requiring exceptional circumstances: al-Insaf 1/386, Kashshaf al-Qina 1/258, Matalib Uli al-Nuha 1/267, Ghayat al-Muntaha 1/123. Ibn Rajab distinguishes it from the alaqah (Jami al-Ulum, p.49).
A nutfah isn’t treated as an ensouled child, nor is janazah performed for it. Study before speaking please, you left a heavy accusation and don’t know fiqh at all. Abortion is permissible before 40 days in the madhab, just because you take a different view doesn’t permit you to speak in this manner. May Allah Guide you.
🧵 Thread on classical scholars who permitted abortion without stipulating a necessity during the early stages of pregnancy, particularly within the Hanbali madhhab.
How are you a Muslim woman giving dawah and you don’t know the standard position on Abortion???
It is HARAM to abort the fetus no matter what stage of development it is in UNLESS you have exceptional reasons (mother is in risk etc)
It is also HARAM to speak on topics you don’t have knowledge on

It seems that Allatyari AKA. @Allahyari5 became very pissed because a couple Days ago he was trying to boast the debate to @Farid_0v and @MrAdnanRashid and claimed that ''this is how he deals with Salafis'', when you bring him the case about brother SuperOmar, he blocks. 🤣🤣
The funny thing about Allatyari AKA. @Allahyari5 is that this is the same guy that tried to sue a salafi for up to $150,000 and when he was asked about it, he lied by claiming that he did not and in another clip he says ''it's none of your Business'' 🤣🤣🤣
However, claiming that abortion is categorically prohibited at every stage without necessity, and accusing those who mention otherwise of speaking without knowledge, overlooks a documented and well-known position within the Hanbali madhhab.
