There is a lot of talk about the complete lack of reason and logic from all of the jurors except one on the Lindsay Clancy case but what people miss is that anyone who gets on a jury already proves they likely have a below average intellect.

Governments everywhere called climate change an existential threat.
The solution? Net-zero. Stop increasing emissions.
Sounds nice, but basically meant, “forbid people from using cheap energy” says @AlexEpstein.
That had bad consequences.
Now they are walking back net-zero:
I am a very truth oriented person. I try to process and consider all of the evidence. Life is difficult for people who highly value truth. People like to hold onto their preconceived notions. It's baked into human nature. But I think we are entering a new age. If we had the Industrial age and then the Information age, I think we are entering the Age of Truth. It's easier than ever to collect evidence about things. Everyone has a camera in their pocket. I recently used a meeting recording to explain a nuanced design decision about an app in development.
But it's not all rainbows and unicorns. If we are truly entering the Age of Truth, we are also entering the Age of Deception. Just as evidence can be collected more easily than ever, it can also be manufactured more easily than ever. Take a clip out of context, or edit it with AI and the Truth is lost.
Counter to what one would think, cults are actually more popular than ever. Maybe it is because of manufactured evidence or maybe because people are overwhelmed so they outsource their thinking. Either way, interesting and challenging times lay ahead.

So far from the highlights of the World Cup, I have deduced that both sides faked injuries resulting in a poor red card and a disallowed goal. This sport has some serious issues. I say all of this as a admirer of the talent involved. But the flopping has to stop.
