I absolutely hate Wise.
Only use it for international transactions, which lately have been a lot.
I get that you want to cover your ass and others are using it nefariously, but come on I'm just trying to run a business.
Anyway team Remitly for international. I even told @tryramp to switch for international payments
I was close to converting to Catholicism, but one of the reasons I did not convert to Catholicism was because of the striking inconsistencies.
Look at today's popes who promote universalism, call the death penalty evil, etc. The rhetoric is radically different from the popes of the past who sanctioned holy wars against barbarians and executed blasphemers. Not to mention the facilitation of mass third migration. The claim that Rome is the original Church that never changed is hard to believe when doctrine has changed throughout history, especially after Vatican II.
Truth doesn't bend to the times, neither should the Church.
That being said, I have much love for my Catholic brothers and sisters, and I learn so much from Catholic theologians and writings from the past. Even many modern Catholics are extremely edifying to me, so I praise God for you!
Tax the Internet
BREAKING: France just voted to tax the internet.
French lawmakers approved a tax of €0.055 (5.5 cents) for every gigabyte of data that companies like Netflix and YouTube send to French users. It’s a tax on the companies, not users directly, but the cost could get passed on to subscribers.
The vote was 11 to 10, with only 35 of 577 lawmakers present. Supporters say it could raise up to €10 billion a year. The French government opposed it, warning it would hit smaller French companies hardest; VLC says it would cost it over €1 million a year.

This amendment to France's 2027 budget bill was narrowly adopted 11-10 in the National Assembly (35 voters present) but is not yet law, faces government opposition, and must still clear further Assembly/Senate steps.

Your health data is the most important dataset of your life. I got tired of it being for sale, tracked through advertising pixels, and monetized down the road.
CalaDX fixes that.
Order blood panels, track your markers over time, and own your data.

If you work a W2 job and don't have a boring business that pays you $5k-$10k a month on top of your salary...
I got you.
Here are 9 boring businesses for sale today (& where to buy them):

The "cash flow" figures are Seller's Discretionary Earnings (SDE) including seller compensation for running the business; these service businesses are not passive side income atop a W2 salary and require active management or added costs that reduce net returns.

Here’s what took me wayy too long to learn in b2b software sales
Buyers are busy, and there lazy about anything that isn’t “on fire” right now
Every time your deck, presentation or proposal makes them do the work like connecting the dots, figure why it matters or decide what to do next - they just won’t
They won’t even tell you no. They’ll just do nothing and “I’ll put this off til it becomes a fire” will beat you every single time.
So your whole job is taking the work off their plate
Start with why now. Don’t make them figure out why it’s a priority.
Tell them what’s going on in the market so the urgency is already there when u walk in
Then hit their pain, and do the math for them and show them where they could be
Their day, but better. No product yet.
Let them see the gap first, and then your solution is just the bridge. And if a feature doesnt connect to something they told you hurts, cut it. Nobody wants to work out how a feature helps them. That's your job.
Then proof. They shouldn't have to take your word for it or go digging.
Show somebody in their exact seat who had the same problem and got a real results and numbers profits out of it
Their peer's word beats yours every time.
And this is where most reps blow it.
They end with "let me know what you think." You just handed all the work back.
Now the buyer has to remember the conversation, sell it to their boss, figure out a timeline, and probably chase you down.
Never happens.
So build a mutual action plan right there
Ask when they want to be live, work backward from that date, and map out every step so they don't have to.
Send the calendar invites while you're still on the call, so the meetings are already booked. Ya sure they get some homework, but it's small and specific with a date on it.
Way easier than "go think about it." Plus it's a free lie detector. If they wont commit to the plan, they were never going to sign
That's the whole game.
Every piece takes a job off their plate
They don't have to find the reason, do the maths, picture the future, hunt for proof, or plan the rollout, adoption and execution
You did all of it.
All they have to do is say yess
I call dibs on his train
Is Kim Jong Un dead? Unverified reports claim the Supreme Leader suffered a brain hemorrhage, was moved to a hospital in Beijing, and died.
The claims cite a coma and the absence of any public appearance to refute them. No official North Korean or Chinese confirmation has been issued. Kim is 5’7” and roughly 310 pounds, a lifelong heavy smoker with documented risks for cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, and diabetes.
Kim Jong Un's sister, Kim Yo Jong has also suddenly stepped into leadership roles.
Identical death rumors circulated in 2020 and were false. He hasn't been seen in two weeks. Is it true this time?
