The White House came out with a new Counterterrorism Strategy last week that looks strikingly similar to Washington State's Domestic Violent Extremism Task Force.

OLYMPIA — Today, Governor Bob Ferguson announced Washington state is joining the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN), a coordinated worldwide partnership dedicated to monitoring and responding to global disease outbreaks.
Following President Trump’s withdrawal of the United States from WHO, Washington will now be connected to an international network essential to strengthening public health preparedness, coordinating rapid response and protecting Washingtonians from emerging diseases.

Today Governor Ferguson will sign HB 1634 into law.
This will empower OSPI to build MORE behavioral health support networks in K12 public schools.
It's important to remind everyone that OSPI and WA democrats have clearly said that parents' rights in education do not matter and that the state has full control. Specifically, parents are prohibited from accessing these mental health records without their student's permission.
It's a mystery then that this bill passed almost unanimously, with only 2 senators voting against it. Why are we giving MORE power and money to OSPI that will allow children to access services where parents have NO access??!!
