This year for our @SoGLeeds research group end of year Christmas celebration we did something a little different and went on a 6.4 mile hike! 🥾 we enjoyed chocolate treats, spontaneous wildlife spotting 🪶 and learnt how to spot new types of fungi 🍄 what a fabulous team 🤩

Today three high school students reached out to me for advice as they plan to write a paper on how pharmaceuticals affect the growth of plants - this made my day! 🤩 They identified some research questions we have been trying to answer for 5+ years! #FutureProfs🪴
Thankful to Nanjing Agricultural University for the opportunity to deliver an academic exchange seminar on emerging #contaminants in the #environment 🚜 It was great to catch up with Dr Guo and Dr Zhang following their time in @SoGLeeds as visiting academics
6 years since my last visit to @NanjingUnivers1 and it is still one of my favourite places to visit. A beautiful campus, great hospitality and interesting scientific discussions. We even managed to squeeze in time to see a greenhouse experiment 🤩🌱
