Home is the last place people like to think CSA happens, but it is the first place that needs to be safe for a child. Time for all to learn of this crisis of abuse dismissed. My thanks to @grantwyeth for helping all to understand it so we can end it! grantwyeth.medium.com/the-fa…

The pro contact era needs to end. Nobody has shown living in abuse benefits the child. All research shows is that ACEs can harm children through adulthood. Abuse does not end with shared custody. Abuse ends when a child is protected. Name it to end it!
🚨A renewed push for mandatory shared care is being sold as fair and child-centred. Its neither. It is a pushback against moves to prioritise safety over contact. Most private law cases involve domestic abuse. Forcing equal time in those cases doesn't protect children, it creates ongoing proximity to an abuser. Children are not units to be divided equally. They need to be safe. 📰Why Mandatory Shared Care is a Terrible Idea: 🔗nataliepage.co.uk/2026/10/26…

Suicide is the leading cause of death for people subject to domestic abuse. We need a system that recognises the impact of coercive and controlling behaviour, holds abusers to account & ensures every survivor can access specialist mental health support. bit.ly/4g92Hg1

Huge victory — CA Supreme Court rules for equal access to justice! Without transcripts, there is no justice until now. Bravo to @fvap_law et al. for this win for justice and all! Read full details: fvaplaw.org/court-reporter-s…

Some people look at you with such questions, disbelief and anger that you are speaking. Some truly care. Just know there is no playbook on what to do in a world that culturally dismisses abuse.
A survivor doesn't owe you the details. They don't owe you the perfect reaction, forgiveness, silence, or an explanation. What they deserve is to be believed, supported, and respected. If someone trusts you with their story, listen without judgment. Let them decide what happens next. And remind them: what happened was not their fault. Supporting survivors starts with believing them. 💙 #SupportSurvivors #BelieveSurvivors #SurvivorSupport #EndSexualExploitation

Today in a scathing open letter, Senator Lankford, rebuked P*rnhub for "preying on children." Lankford condemned P*rnhub's July 28 message to state lawmakers opposing age-verification requirements, saying the company "has no interest in protecting children.” "It exposes them to horrific sexual content and does nothing to ensure that children are not sexually abused in the content it hosts…P*rnhub’s letter fails to say the quiet part out loud: P*rnhub would lose customers if children were prohibited from viewing its content,” Lankford wrote. P*rnhub and its executives must be held accountable to the full extent of the law for destroying the lives of countless children both in front of the screen and behind it.

When survivors like Alexis share their stories with RAINN, almost all of them also share messages of support for fellow survivors. Even when they themselves have said they sometimes still feel hopeless or unhealed. This is the strength the world doesn't know about. To survive unimaginable harm—and still show up with unconditional love and support for others who are hurting. If you need to feel supported right now, text "HOPE" to 64673 to connect with a trained support specialist on RAINN's National Sexual Assault Hotline. If you want to share your own story—and your own message for survivors—visit RAINN.org/share-your-story You deserve hope, healing, and happiness. #SurvivorStrong #RAINN #SupportSurvivors #StopSexualViolence

As part of the next Australian child sexual abuse Action Plan, we are calling for a national grooming prevention program - to disrupt the ways that offenders manipulate children’s attachment systems and neutralise protective adults linkedin.com/posts/michael-s…
As a teenager, Michelle Denault was groomed and sexually abused by one of her high school teachers. She recalls: "My teacher had a motorcycle, and I LOVED him. I really thought, ‘This is love.’ He didn’t have to use fear to get to me; my biggest fear was losing the relationship—losing his love. It’s emotional blackmail.” Today, Denault helps parents, students, and communities understand how grooming works—and how to protect kids. NJ is listening to the youth! Huge win for child safety. Argument of drive at 16, etc. is a silencing pitch. Victims know if they are not safe. Time for children’s rights for safety to be acknowledged. Kids aren’t evergreen products for “experts.” nj.com/politics/2026/08/nj-j…

Thank you, @SusanKLivio for your reporting! Eight years ago this week, Kayden was murdered. She was seven and knew she wasn’t safe with her father. May the Federal #KaydensLaw in VAWA reach every state! It is time a child has a right to leave abuse!
